Look - Letterman is an irresponsible pundit who reports his very biased view in an effort to influence voters. If you are offended by what I say, then you are one of them who is being influenced.

I used to watch David Letterman every night. Now I not only ignore his show watch his show, but I boycott his entire network. This means golf, the NFL, everything!

It's different, though. Letterman's comment came from a late night talk show. It's in good humor, and in good fun. It was mean, yes, but it's a comment that is grounded in humor. Limbaugh, on the other hand, is part of credible show that is a representation of the Republican party.

Rush's show is a mix of humor and politics. He votes republican, but does not lead the party. Thats Michael Steele's job and Steele would never make such comments. Letterman's show is humor and he chose to delve into politics. As much as Rush uses humor, the left wing and right wing would be all over him if he made such comments as Letterman.
