  • WHY HASNT THIS BEEN TRANSLATED YET!? come on guys! i KNOW one of you knows fluent japanese!

  • man that masking teknike! is damm bad ass!!!!

  • There's no doubt that his masking skills are strong. Personally, I don't have the patience for it - I usually just use a brush and a steady hand. Can't argue with his results, though.

  • this is holy shit the masking skill is so bad ass!

  • I used to think that working with a dry brush was easy but DAMN! that masking looks hard

  • Wow this guy is really patient on the masking bit!

  • I concur with everyone else - the masking kami's. i do these figures as a hobby (all hail Shunya Yamashita and Jun Tsukasa) and i learned a lot from these tutorials--> rock on

  • All hail to the God of Masking Tape. He took that to a whole new level. My hat's off to this craftman.

  • whats that clear liquid is always mixes in with the paints?

  • @endofworldin7days I think its a thinner to prevent the paint from clogging up inthe drybrush

  • what type of tape is that? he used it while he was sculpting her hair too.

  • @sweetieVirus Masking tape.

  • the god of masking

  • Beautiful work this guy is doing! That Mr.Color hobby paint system looks to be like the perfect kind of paint for this figure. Too bad it's usually not sold here in the US.

  • you can buy the model kit and attempt to build it yourself the model kit is much cheaper than a prebuilt and painted figure

  • no wonder these statues cost so much. the amazing amount of detail and care it takes to make one out of 100 of these statues.

  • @shumworld I think this a prototype after this they mass produce them and paint theme in a factory

  • @shumworld so true.:)

  • this is hard...n mess up... n crazy

but i think itz worth it at the end

  • I realized my mouth and eyes were wide open in awe during the application and removal of the masking. That was amazing, his attention to that lacy detail! The result was beautiful!

  • Man, I agree with you on that. I was awestruck when the masking tape was removed to reveal the detail. Now I know why figures cost what they do. A lot of work goes into them.

  • man that look hard to do and whoa that is a will done job on it too
