this is amazing lol... ive been told that as a saxophone player that i should learn flute... so i figure ill ask a flute player... does anybody have any say on this? if so tell me
@PHSMustangSAXPlayer Well you know what they say, "saxophone ruins everything." I'm just a messenger here, but flute always does sound way cool. When I play shows, people are always asking for more and louder flute. I deduce that flute is more pleasing to the ear, but sax can be great. Maybe sax is just harder to master.
I have recently been playing flute less and less. I'm 16 and I love note bening, and I to listen to hendrix religioussly. I have recently taken up guitar (about a year ago now)- I find the Equal tempered rigid nature of the flute, frankly frustrating. I've considered taking up electric fiddle to have some real note bending versatility, but this is just something else. If I could get one of these, then I'd never neglect my flute ever again.
Has anyone got one of these Glissando headjoints for sale? They're not being made anymore but I really want to get hold of one to work with during my Doctoral studies. Cheers.
I've recently started practising flute again- I'm 16, and like yourself I listen to hendrix religiously. I grew tired of the flute's rigid equal tempered scale and because of this and other reasons I have really drifted away from it. I've been playing guitar for about a year now and I've was considering taking up the electic violin- As a fretless instrument its note bending potential is greater than that of the electric gutiar- and I really want to apply it to jazz blues and rock contexts.
Me gusta.

How much would one of those Glissando Headjoints cost? Are they 958 silver or sterling silver? Would they fit any flute? They look pricey.
