  • Genius

  • awesome

  • This is the song played when a mastermind orchestrates a complex, 1,492 step world domination plan flawlessly as he casually sits reading a newspaper, sipping on a cup of tea, adding sugar delicately, and smoking a pipe, in a building overwatching a giant metropolis where he can watch his invasion of the city as step 143, in helicopters and riot squads, whilst the opposition in futility attempts to divert the masterfully arranged, strategically thought out formations of coup-troops.... What?

  • 1:31 Children of Bodom used that as a riff in "The Nail"

  • Bach is AMAZING seriously!

  • ...memories from the future...

  • This is awsome!

  • Bach is baaad. . .

  • Lady gaga plays this in her live version of born this way! still influences artists today.

  • Baroque was an era of artistic style by the way morons...

  • I started learning this at age 7 this is the the heart of why I play piano 20+ years later....

  • Mad science!!

  • @oKickass you seem quite up yourself..

  • @oKickass Cliff Burton, the orginal metallica bass player (and the best RIP), was a huge bach fan and so is James Hetfield. Just saying.....

  • DEVIL !

  • This is used brilliantly in Malick's work of art "The Tree of Life."

  • The beginning is incredibly scary man :D

  • Please! People, Boys and Girls of all ages! This is Not Classical music! This is Baroque!

    Please learn the difference.

Next you'll be telling me Pachelbel's "Canon in D" is a Canon...!

  • Was he christian?

  • Megadeth

  • This song is amazing, I love the feeling it creates. This guy is a real legend!

  • thats Rock and Roll !!!!!

    xDD

  • Johan Sebastian Fucking Bach!!!!!!!!!

  • In the name of all these who prefer classical music over rock, I tell you, people that hate classical music: YOUR MUSIC IS NOT MUSIC, IT'S A BUNCH OF SOUNDS. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS THE TRUE MUSIC, NOT YOUR CHAOTIC MASS OF ELECTRONIC SHIT. THANK YOU.

  • @ArtyomProductions

How vey open minded of you

  • @scootygar Rightly said.

  • @ArtyomProductions music is music, whether it's your taste or not. I'm sorry you feel so strongly about such a petty topic. You clearly aren't a true appreciator of music and musical talent if you think that in order for it to be good, artists cannot expand and progress what those have done before them. Bach is a master of music, no doubt about it. But that doesn't make current musical geniuses less of masters just because they have allowed music to evolve.

  • @FerSherAnya I'm saying my own opinion. I know the music evolved, but in my opinion it evolved into the negative side.

  • @FerSherAnya

This guy looks like a troll... And trolls we don't feed. :)

  • @ArtyomProductions It's not Classical, it's Baroque...

  • Phoenix Wright :)

  • I was in a curch and was bored and then they started to play this, i tought to my self: This shit just got real

  • This my favorite toccata and fugue...sounds scaruy! :D

  • i love the fact that lady gaga always brings us here :D

  • Most pieces of classical music will relax you and put images into your head, complete with emotions of happiness or sadness, peace or excitement, love or joy.

This piece will make you think of all your worst nightmares rising to kill you in the middle of the night.

  • metal head of his time

  • possibly the best score ever!

  • Un pur chef d'oeuvre !!!!

  • Bach is rolling in the grave...

  • @valigeo96 yeah, rockin' n rollin' ;D \m/

  • @Cardien18 =]] indeed

  • Ha, the ringtone in Phoenix Wright.

But this is a pretty heavy piece. Its amazing, the complexity of a song like this. Classical music is just too grand not to like.

  • Sublime...

  • umm DC version is better

  • Search Naruto Orochimaru theme

  • great

  • Am I the only one that that gets mad when some smart ass says"Oh listen it's count Dracula"

  • @comment816 They aren't even smart. Dracula (1931) used Swan Lake as its credits music.

  • @comment816 : It was count Dracula who commissioned this piece. I learned that in a movie. Bach obliged because he didn't want to walk around missing 2 gallons of fresh blood.

  • OROCHIMARU!

  • chuck norris can play this on the triangle.

  • Jonathan! Jonathan! Jonathan!

  • i have to write a stupid essay on this and the firebird suite. does anyone know where i can find the video for the firebird suite.?

  • @KatieMarieGuest Wikipedia

  • I wanna play that on an organ in a church to freak out people! ;)

  • @GrooveAndFunky I have... it felt good!

  • @GrooveAndFunky As a young choirboy I witnessed our choir master and organ player play this alone and it changed me for life.

  • @GrooveAndFunky 10-15 years of training should to the trick. Or maybe more, given that it takes 10 years to become a half decent piano player... and an organ has up to 7 keyboards. Plus the pedals. :)

  • uhuhuhuhu im like this

  • 26 people were diagnosed with earwax blockage

  • TPAC LIVES

  • How can I describe this... Divine sounds fair enough I guess.

  • Haha I listen to alot of music. Metal, hard rock, classic rock, but classical is something. Even after all these years, classical is still alive. While pop songs and alot of other popular songs usually die out in a year. Party rock anthem is on its way down from its fame already. Classical can not be topped off in those kind of terms ;)

  • @PivotAnimator50 The links between Heavy Metal and Classical/Baroque styles of music are almost impossible to ignore. Deep Purple's Mk II lineup (Blackmore and Lord in particular) fused them, in a way. Check out Highway Star, Blackmore's attempt at a song with a "Bach feel."

  • Listening to this, I realize that most Square RPG's I played on SNES as a kid were extremely influenced by Bach.

  • is it okay if im 16 and i like listening to classical music? :/

  • @DrAlexandrius

I am 14 and i like classical music.

  • @DrAlexandrius There is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with young people listening to classical music. It shows that you have an appreciation for the finer things, and that is something to be admired.

  • @brie100 glad to hear that :)

  • @DrAlexandrius Hey, I'm a teen, too, and I've LOVED classical music ever since I can remember. Only more recently have I been "into" any other kinds, and classical is still #1 in my book. Like brie100 said, there's absolutely nothing wrong with appreciating this kind of music. :)

  • My dad had this played as his entrance music when he married my mom. XD

  • @SeiyaMei is he dracula?

  • @SeiyaMei : He was that scared ?.

  • @SeiyaMei hahaha :D

  • @SeiyaMei I hope the music wasn't played live, poor organ player :(

  • I'm listening mostly to hear the original version of the intro to "Last Rites/Loved to Deth" By Megadeth. By the way, I didn't spell that wrong, it's just how it is.

  • This is what happens when brilliant minds jam in order to warm up their instruments

  • Bach..although you are fat but every ounce of your fat, bones and muscles resembles 10 times its weight in epicness!

  • What is so unworldy about this piece is comparalbe to the looks I get when people hear me play this.

Where the hell do I live?

  • @SirMonkeyoftheBrook i know that feel

    people are morons

  • @SirMonkeyoftheBrook australia, judging from your profile ^_^

  • ktoś tu jest z Polski?

  • Thumbs up if this song reminds u of dracula

  • Gyruss, but I knew of Bach before the game.

  • Oh, who cares about the dislike bar? I'll be optimistic and look on the good side of things, and the good side of things is that 3944 people have liked the video which, according to my math, is a far bigger number than 26.

  • Love it ♥

  • This played not only in Dracula (The old version), but this also played in Dark Castle the Video Game which sucked.

  • The Master!!!

  • Orochimaru.

  • LADY GAGA "Born this way" at the "Monster ball tour"

  • reminds me of the organist from brutal legend

"Ophelia we are winning, I'm almost tempted to play you a happy song, almost"

  • 26 people have no soul lol amirite

  • DAT boss fight with Megaman Juno.

  • going with mind to gods

  • brutal

  • @blackNwhite2008 original shredder

  • I just smoked a joint, and listening to this shit is like listening to gods screaming orgasm. Fucking epic.

  • just imagine the people of this time in church listening to this powerful music, it would have put the fear of god into them.

  • Whenever I hear this song, I get chills... but I also get the image of Dracula dueling against the Phantom of the Opera (the Phantom image comes to mind thanks to "Gremlins 2: The New Batch") for the love (& life) of.... I think it MIGHT be Judy Garland, dressed in Victorian attire. I blame Cinema for ruining me... & saving me. And I blame all the fans of good Classical music for getting this stuck in my head... again! I, honestly, never knew the name or the composer until today. Thank you!

  • My hands sweat and I freaking get paranoid every time I hear this!!!

  • pantera is better...

  • @TheCOB98 You can't say the oak tree is better than the seed.

  • Reminds me of Dracula. And Keith Olbermann..lol

  • I fap to this song er night before I fall asleep.

  • @TheErogenousZone HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

  • Wow.

  • The part between 0:00 and 9:27 is the best.

  • This part 1:15 is so fucking awesome

  • Bach in Black !!! OK, I shut up and listen to the music...

  • Music...............

  • @PACiOW Gingrich kinda looks like Johann Sebastian Bach ;)

  • @smoKINGcz right haha

  • @PACiOW Why did you write that now every time Ithink of Bach I also think of that low life Gingrich

  • @DominusDeIgnis i'm sorry haha

  • @PACiOW CAN'T BE UNSEEN

  • @metaltilim60 LMAO! The first and the third picture. Couldn't help but notice I guess

  • @PACiOW More like Newt Gingrich looks like Bach.

  • @PACiOW Fuck that guy. Massachusetts is awesome.

  • @chantall1st1 Yeah he sucks!

I was just pointing it out because it can't be unseen...

  • @PACiOW Yeah I know and you're awesome for that.

  • @PACiOW Yeah...maybe Newt wouldn't be so screwed up, if he, like Bach, did everything "Solo Deo Gloria" (only for God's glory)!

  • @PACiOW Nah man, Newt Gingrich looks like Bach!

  • @theanayalator yeah that's what I meant.

  • I pretty much like Metalbands like Children of Bodom or Warmen, because their songs are Based on classic like this! I love it ^.^

  • @Rollinator2 go listen to mirrothrone or bishops of hexen, dimmu borgir is another brillant artist

  • @xxdomoxxkunxx I will =)

  • I would love to hear Haggard use this as a back theme to one of their songs.

  • sry i mean 'clicks' with a 'c'

  • i don'T understand, this music receives less than a million klicks, while musicians, raping the art of music nowadays, get a hell of attraction like some hundred million klicks, that's a shame that the music is led by such artificial destruction and incapability.

  • 2:46 Best part

  • @MonoCabron123 best part 0:00 to 9:21 :P

  • thumbs up if you used to think that this song was dracula!

  • @TheTristen thumbs up then!!!

  • I'm still looking for a doorbell that has this xD

  • Bach's Ultimate master piece, no mater what no one sais. Its one of the most amazing pieces in classical music in History.

  • I dont know but this song reminds me of castlevania and final bowser in super mario 64 good times

  • This would make the perfect wedding processional music---much better than the over-used Pachelbel's Canon! And the first few bars would suit the occasion perfectly...

  • 26 tweens love justing bieber

  • Phoenix Wright: Justice For All Intro at 0:00

  • 26 people have no soul

  • the end is the most epic ending to a song ever.

    - that is a fact

  • Come then, Midnight, let us disperse this petty rabble. Bach's Fugue was actually based upon a common composition style at the time, not any kind of feeling in particular. Any accidental Post-Hoc associations with 'horror' films remain unintented consequence of the 'Fugue,' originating from the Baroque Era, which began in the 1600s, - an era of art preceding the Classical and Romantic Eras. The connotation of "evil" perhaps should be better remembered as what is EPIC. -Ben

  • @BenGoesTo It seems probable that the choice of minor key and the frequent discords were not haphazard; although Bach was no Romantic, he could still express emotion through his music.

  • aw, reminds me of the Aviator

  • if it werent for Johann Sebastian Bach, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms and many others we wouldnt have music today. so the next time someone says classical music is worthless, inimportiant, and shitty they can go FUCK THEMSELFS WITH A BROKEN OFF SPLINTERY BROOMSTICK THATS ON FIRE!!!!!!

  • @Grif549 that statement could use more adjectives.

a broken-off pointy poisoned and bowl wrenching broomstick on fire!! Now it's even harsher!!

  • just finished supper, great prime-rib...& now i'm enjoying..again.. Bach & his work of Perfection...As well as some of his other works too.

  • Walking in streets, listening to this -->fuckin' epic

  • @HoD3 when it's darkish outside. even more epic.

  • 26 people have no taste in music

  • Every time i listen to this, my friends are like maan, what tha hell is that shit,, well its music that comes right in to your soul, and music that is based on art, and music that enlightens your whole life. i dont think bach ever used the word fuck, or motherfucker. so yea, i dont want to listen to rap that discriminates women because i have a mother and sister and no one dares to fuck with them, .. and thats how they shut the fuck up.. NOW LISTEN AND ENJOY

  • @Hoovern931001 if Bach wrote lyrics to this, i bet "motherfucker" would be in the number

  • @Hoovern931001 I want to listen to rap as well as this, and I find that most talented rappers don't discriminate against women; that's a stereotype created by those who either have no appreciation for the use of language, or are racist. And maybe Bach never used the word "fuck", but I notice that you do.

  • @Hoovern931001 this music is about death and most of them and death its not a rap thing because its a pure art thing

  • @MusikSkull well, its like a vampire theme mostly...

  • Orochimaru disliked this cause the Western took his theme first... ^^ Haters..

  • Johann Peter Kellner's ghost disliked this!

  • I just opened up a bottle of merlot...1994.. & I'm relaxing to this wonderful piece of music from Mr. Bach.....Perfect!....Just Perfect!...

  • clearly you had to go out of your way to find this video...yet it has dislikes? reallly????

  • all people who disliked this it would be a waste to say that I'd shove a piano up ur asses...

  • Perfection....
