  • where can I buy this EPD module ?

Please, I really need it !

    ricardo@ricktron.com.br

    thanks !

  • while ignoring the digitizing plate the screen is sitting on, that's very cool (useful)

  • that is awesome! i'd want one of those for every display i ever use, on anything...lol

  • I can imagine this being used as the basis of a newspaper reading device. Currently, Kindle et al. have screens too tiny for news articles the way we're used to consuming them.

Imagine a little rod that you stick in your pocket. An e-paper display (say 15"x11", the size of a paper above the fold) is rolled around it and you simply unroll it when you want to read it. The content would be in a flash drive on the rod.

And since it's touch sensitive, you could add a keyboard mode for searching.

  • Question, can you write on the "paper" while it's being flexed?

  • We are truly living in the future now.

  • no, the future is in the future

  • yea lol

  • @EmmeJayKay I was living in the future a long time ago LOL...

  • thats not bad..eventually usefull and though i understand its most likely a prototype however it seems very primative.. using what could barely be classified as original gameboy quality graphics.. i'll be impressed with multi-touch and interface accessible flexidisplays w/ color

  • Can't wait for this to be on the kindle 3

  • can you write on it while it's lifted and bent? or can you only write on it while on top of that white surface (i assume it's the digitizer)? it's not so impressive if the digitizer is rigid.

  • google: Flexible Screens Get Touchy-Feely

  • I was thinking the exact same thing.

  • i will buy it !!!

  • how much???

  • this is our future.. science fiction actually coming a reality.

  • I prefer my video

  • cool but why....lol

  • So you can roll up your laptop and put it in your side pocket.

  • Not until they make flexible chips and circuit boards

  • haha, are you a starving one?

  • yes.

  • dude.... that is awesome! very revolutionary

  • wow thats sick

  • I want one!

  • do want

  • nice
