What kind salad dressing would you buy other than Trader Joes? Can you give any recipes for salad dressing please? Love all your knowledge, everything is so doable to me:)
This is by far my most favorite video/review that you have shared. I love seeing people buying healthy groceries and I am so glad you use the tupperware!! I get made fun of for packing my own lunch, but its pays off. Im 6'0'' and Im super athletic so I eat a lot. Thanks for sharing your video!
I just ran across ur youtube vids and absolutely love your energy. Keep doing what you're doing!! I hate when people tell you to elliminate every food on the face of this earth to stay "healthy"- thats when you ignore and move on.What's a girl to eat, cardboard? Great tips- I'll def be watching all 59 vids.
Hey Brenda, I am trying to work out and lose weight. would i add brown rice and/or starchy carb to the salad? or eat on the side? does it matter that much? Also, what are some other starchy carbs that would be good? :)
Love your videos!! Can you please give weight loss advice for new mommies that are breast feeding? I'm 9 months post and my baby refuses to be weaned. I have a total of 85 pounds to lose. Also, I'm about 5'11. How much weight should I be losing per month? What foods should I be eating? What can I do to lose this weight while BF :(Please help. Keep up the good work we love your videos!!
Im changing my eatting habits and thank you for this video im goung to do it. And i wanted to know how many of does do u eat a day and how many snacks. O and can i put lemon juice in my water?? Please answer.
Who doesn't like sundried tomatoes? Me :D Nevermind. Planning to move to Canada from the UK in September and hope to slim down by then. Wish me luck :)
Wow!! this was a great video/idea!!! Definitely helps organize and simplify your life if you do this so there are no excuses about not having time or money or energy to prepare a healthy meal. thanks for the great video Brenda!!
Im new in your channel , and I love the ideas that you are giving in this tutorial thanks for you time to show us , how we can do better on our diet !!
I just bought my Tupperware containers yesterday! So ready to try this because I feel like I've tried everything and I would lose like 20lbs but gain it right back. Im finally in the right frame of mine to lose the weight for good. Finally Im doing this truly for myself and for my health and for no one else=)
Hello. I love this video. I have a few questions that came up while watching it. 1. What are alkaline foods and please provide more examples like the sea salt? 2.What size are the containers? 3. What are the fat burning hormones and which foods block them? Thank you in advance for your answers.
i call them "purple onions" too!!!!! :D and people look at me funny. They're suppose to be "red onions" but they're not red at all!!! lol anyway love this idea wish I lived near a "Trader Joes"
Your videos are GREAT, I have been watching a few each day to educate myself. How do you prevent the greens from getting soggy if you do a weeks worth at one time?
What are the brand of those containers? I'm searching amazon, but not sure if I see those kinds listed. Thanks. Also, do you have a problem with food going bad on you, especially how you added the hot meat on top of the greens? Great video...
I started this tupperware trick and have lost a jean size in 2 weeks! No guessing what's for lunch and if I'm making pasta or such for the family, I can just grab my tupperware and mine is ready to go too! Steamed Broccoli slaw works great in place of rice or noodles too! I used them with my homemade marinara and YUM! I did tubs with snaking veggies too. Thanks for the tips!
@DonnaJean1969 Oh. My. Goodness. I am sooo proud of you! You know what? This is something that has ALWAYS worked for my clients...if they actually DO it. Your commitment is commendable! Keep me posted. p.s. I did a blog post recipe, and I said "Brocoli slaw makes me feel like I'm eating noodles"...great minds think alike :)
@angelsparkle8 Some people have sensitivities to certain nuts, yet they don't even realize it. In fact, food sensitivities can actually draw you towards the very foods you are sensitive to. Nuts are a common allergen/irritant for many, plus they have something called phytic acid. If you don't have any symptoms of food sensitivities (stomach cramps, fatigue, foggy brain), then almond butter is great! Peanut butter is last on the totem pole as far as nut butters go..Thanks :)
wow, i give you credit, you are in great shape and are obviously doing something right, but wow, eating the same exact meal every day 3x a day?? I know there are slight variances but basically all the same thing. How could you stick to that???
Good point!! I definitely ALWAYS switch up the proteins/veggies I use. This week, for example, I prepared tilapia and salmon with totally different vegetables than were in the video. And I snack in between, and snacks change too..almonds, greek yogurt, fruits etc. I would never be able to just eat the same thing every day..but I have the same ROUTINE...cooking my meals/planning them out/eating a every 3-4 hours etc..only robots can eat the same stuff every day & not go nuts. Thanks!!
@TytoAlbaLoverForLife i thought the same thing...but you know what would be a good idea...put individual portions sizes in ziploc baggies and place them in the freezer. that way you can heat up the meat and keep the veggies from wilting. i really like this idea..think i'll go stock up on some tupperware!
@25peppermint It seems to stay fresh in the containers, as long as you don't add any dressing or anything until you eat it, the avocado should be fine. If that sounds weird, you can just wait until you're going to eat your meal, and then slice up some avocado and put the rest of it in a zip lock baggie until you need it again. Thanks for your question.
what are you thoughts on juicing, and is it really an benefit to do so and with the meal plans would these also be good for and preteen that is trying to lose extra weight?
First. I love the idea of the Tupperware. But I was wondering. For example the ground turkey and salad. Would you eat like 3 a day? And is there any other variety? Or is it mainly salad and a lean meat!
Could one batch possibly be, lean meat and steamed broccoli?
Might be common sense questions but I want to get this correct because it's so important to change my lifestyle and lose weight.
Also I enjoy hot foods. So do you ever make meals that need to be re heated?
Hey Lis! Sunday is my "prep day". On sunday I make 12-15 of these and pop them in the fridge..that way I have my meals planned for most of the week and I don't have to "think" or "worry" about what to eat. Just kind of grab n go. From that point I eat about 3 per day. Based on my needs, I've measured out about 300 calories per container.
You could absolutely eat one of these for breakfast. You could also prepare some "breakfast" ones that have turkey bacon, green peppers etc. Thanks
@hahahifive I always do something different...but it mainly consists of balsamic vinegar, mustard, fresh rosemary, and a dash of olive oil. Another one that is good is white wine vinegar, minced onions, oregano, lemon, basil, olive oil, and salt. I just play around with whatever I have :)
@Citizen6935 You strike me as a keyboard warrior :) Have you ever taken any college courses on biochemistry? I have. Have you ever participated in medical health studies at major universities? I have. I'd recommend extending your health research BEYOND the cute little articles you've read on the internet. Namaste.
@mxdmama I am so happy to read the word "inspired"..That is EXACTLY what I am hoping for before I make my videos!!! Thanks so much for the positive energy...sending some right back at you :)
