Also, Tibetans who have demonstrated have had their faces appear on wanted posters -- they have to be brave.

actually western monks usually know more about buddhism than any tibetan person or any tibetan monk, except those tibetan monks that have enough sponsor to study buddhism deeply...those sponsors are westerners and sometimes western monks or nuns.

And as far as his holliness restricting this so called religion, he passed a referendum many years ago, where people could follow this cult if they wanted. After repeated "request" to the Tibetan people not to follow this cult, due to negative impacts it brings on people's live, His Holliness is really saddened by people labelling it a "violation of religious freedom".

If you all Shugden followers need "religious freedom", go back to Tibet, where Chinese govt. is really taking care of you people and you all know that very well. It makes other real Tibetans wonder why in the world are you still here asking for religious freedom in exile? haha. We Tibetans are here in exile because our rights are being denied in Tibet. But you all have no reason to be here.

The only reason why these westerners are supporting these shugden followers is because they know violation of religious freedom, thats all they know. Thats why they are here. They dont know anything about how much deeper they need to go find out the real truth. And yea, Tibetans in the video are rude to these westerners, because, they are disgusted by the fact that these westerners are out here to protesting against Dalai lama without knowing much about the issue.

There are also thousands of Tibetans opposing this ban. Those who can are demonstrating. Most Shugden practitioners are not allowed to travel as they don't have ID cards and therefore travel papers. Why were they not given ID cards? Because they refused to sign the double oath to (1) give up their religious practice of Dorje Shugden and (2) to not associate with anyone who still does it. Also, Tibetans who have demonstrated have had their faces appear on wanted posters -- they have to be brave.

Tsayang, what you say is incorrect. Most Gelugpas relied upon Dorje Shugden as a Dharma Protector, regarding him as an emanation of the wisdom Buddha Manjushri -- and there were millions of Gelugpas. The Chinese have nothing to do with this -- opposing the Dalai Lama does not automatically make you Chinese. It is the Dalai Lama's ban and ensuing schism that is dividing Tibetans, the DL has no one but himself to blame. You are the one who has bought into the propaganda and has little knowledge.

Dorje Shugden is a Wisdom Buddha who has been relied upon for centuries by all the most revered and most loved Gelugpa Lamas, including the Dalai Lama's own teacher and the Dalai Lama himself. He is no spirit. The Dalai Lama needs to lift this ban.

WWS took this chance to protest all over the world because there was a huge media attention on the tibetan issue and esp. with hhdl. hhdl has been travelling around the world for years. shugden situation has been going on for years. should protest on a large scale as u did then at the correct time. why didnt you?? i have seen shugden protests in the past..and tibetans tend to ignore you. but when u protest at the time u did in this video...wat do u expect?? we are human beings. you have no idea

offcourse, when you are as stingy and mislead as any one of those shukden group, where will you get to know the real Dalia Lama? It's worth even to sacrifice your life to get a bit of his teachings that people long to receive!
