  • What type of system are using at 0:51 to make sounds? Im going to make a godzilla suit here soon, & would be cool if I could get sound effects. Mainly the roars

  • The fact that he felt the urge to wiggle his butt while burping KILLS me.

  • lol thats great XD

  • lol

  • Wow, really cool! I was thinking you might try modifying your script to vary the playback sample rate slightly each time a sound is triggered, to make it sound less like a recording is being played. Might give it a little extra touch of realism.

Also, you gotta get him onto Funday Pawpet to smash some headless Barbies... that would be classic. =P

  • lol Awesome!

  • great suit, nice video and lol was that spam haha.

  • Thats amazing!!!!!!!^^

  • awesome!!! :D

  • this sound from Godzilla .... sound effect -.-''

  • Very funny, I think the wave shield is very good for entertainment. This is really something that could be of use in amusement parks.

  • thats cool

  • Awesome!

  • Very clever! :-D

  • wow, This is the best dragon suit I've seen yet

  • lol spam

  • One of the best !

  • great video

  • Thanks! RAR!

  • no problem make more video with this dragon find this dragon name Kingsford great

  • wow great and is that Kingsford the Black Dragon like this dragon

  • GENIOUS!! Are you one of the first to think of this?

  • Not the first, no. Triggur had done something similar several years ago (search for 'mech wolf'), and there might be pro suits that pre-date that. The tech is just more accessible now.

  • Absolutely wicked!!!!!! Awesome work bro :D

  • That's actually rather clever, especially the footfalls. Nice costume too.

I think the "vocal" sounds would work better if the head had a moving jaw though. Also, how sensitive are the buttons on the hand? I hate to think a noise goes off every time you touch something or clench your fist!

  • Thanks! I can't take credit for the costume though, that was a commissioned piece.

As assembled for this demo, yes, the buttons are WAY too easily-triggered (clapping, for instance, sets everything off). There are plenty of spare I/O pins on the Arduino board though...it would be fairly straightforward to an enable button on the opposite hand so the sounds only work when they're really needed. Lots of "bloopers" when taping this. :) Just wanted to post something quick so people could get ideas.

  • That is one of the coolest costumes.

  • Thank you kindly. The costume is Jeremy Milne's work; I just added the noises.

  • That is beautiful work scaborous!! He is now an evil moster indeed. I beg you to neevr let any other fursuiter have this technology, or nextthing you know EVERY FURSUIT at a con will be burping, meowing, stomp, and making a horrigable racket :D

  • It gets annoying real fast, doesn't it? :) Well the genie's out of the bottle now...the parts are relatively affordable and easy to acquire, and simple enough to put together that most people could figure it out. So yes...conventions are about to get a lot more cacophonous!

  • That works pretty good and good to see Kingsford in action.

  • Wow! that's cool how you rigged everything up!

And an awsome costume too. ^-^~*
