He and Monsoon were part of the reason Hogan got so over. People underestimate the importance of a great Commentator in terms of getting people over. Both made sense, Heenan had kayfabe never got on with Hogan etc so it made sense he would cheer them. Heenan did not ruin the end of BATB, that is such a bullshit theory. I watched it and Hogan had been a face so long no one believed it would be Hogan, it made sense Heenan would say that. It's all continuity
