How many of you out there can picture Carman Licciaredello singing Al Jolson's greatests hit songs? I sure can!!! The words are decent and there are so many styles! When Jazz?:The only Jazz style I love! HUM? I should go and record some of my favourite Al Jolson songs; never mind Carman! I'll beat him to it and perhaps become a YOU TUBE Star! LOL! I do sing but at this ripe old age in my life, a star miracle?hum

My dad, too, sang this song to us when we were kids. As a kid, I just assumed all dads could sing and did sing, and that they sang these songs. (It has just hit me lately that my dad had quite the voice.) I miss him, his voice, and it is sad that not only are the great jazz pioneers gone, but their early fans are leaving us too.
