@SomeLittleShoe Sorry I came off harsh, it wasn't necessary, I was in a foul mood. I agree with you, undoubetly the sub 10 second 100 meter guys and sub 20 second 200 meter guys are using something. Just look at Ben Johnson running the 9.79 100 meter in the 1988 olympics while slowing up 5 meters from the finish line Then he got caught for using the steroid winstrol. When he came back after his suspension clean, he stopped running sub 10 second times. Same thing with Marion Jones.

apology accepted. I hate that they are using steroids. I wish the sport was clean so we could know who really is the fastest. But there's so much money involved, millions of dollars in shoe endorsements and product endorsement, that it's a strong temptation, especially for people on a poor island like Jamaica, to get faster using steroids so they can get very rich.

Some guys on my high school football team were using steroids, and that was back in the late 1970's. I heard a man on sports talk radio say Albert Pujols started using cow growth hormone when he was 11.

@SomeLittleShoe Using the animal growth hormones was dangerous because of the bacteria present. Now they can just manufacture it and it's just as potent as what's in our own bodies. It's become a lot cheaper over the years. I would say using the PED's can better one's 100 meter time by .5 seconds, and one's 200 meter time by a full second. Now this is just speculation, but I know quit a bit about these drugs and have even used testosterone myself from time to time, its a wonder drug.
