  • first with knife then with key and on the end with coin.why didn t ya do that reverse?

  • @Filo2Th I just grabbed whatever I had in front of me. After I uploaded the video, I realized I probably should have gone in order, but I couldn't be assed to redo the whole thing.

  • n3rd to tha maxxxxxxxxx ;)

  • wtf would u 'want' 2 scratch a phone just 2 prove that it scrtches?!

  • @PeterMarkAzzopardi I didn't "want" to scratch it. If you understand the science behind hardness (read the video comment) there is little to no chance of actually scratching the screen. Steel (unless hardened, etc.) is extremely unlikely to scratch glass.

  • i hav that phone

  • that is a hero its from sprint! i have it

  • Thats not an htc hero ! xD lol

  • @KILLNBUILD Its the U.S. version of the hero it looks different then the European version of the Hero

  • @KILLNBUILD Yes it is! xD lol.....it's from sprint

  • @KILLNBUILD true!

  • @KILLNBUILD true! it´s a tatoo or something..

  • i had mine for a month and couple drops, works good, no scratches at all

  • that not true it bull cause i have a htc hero and i never drop it or anything else and it has a scratch on it

  • @synthia20010 No, it's not bull at all. The outer layer of the screen is made of glass and it is quite impossible to have the glass scratch from solely having it in your pocket. You may have had a ring or some other source of metal in your pocket at one time or another.

  • I wanna see a video where the user fully expects the glass to hold up, but ends up making a huge gash on the screen with a knife.

    That would be freaking hilarious.

  • Fake hero

  • probly the sprint model not the european one :P

  • @dayl3 Hah, not quite. As JimmyEatsTheWorld points out, it is the American version provided through Sprint.

  • is it the same as the original htc hero?

  • @TheMacHack It's nearly the same hardware, coupled with a slightly bigger battery and different design for the North American market.

  • I have an HTC MyTouch 3G. I'm assuming that the glass for the two phones is the same? I would loe to lose this plastic screen protector. Can anyone let me know?

  • very nice video, i'll check it :)

  • Thanks for the video. I just bought my Sprint HTC Hero and was contemplating buying a screen protector. I don't plan on taking a key or razor blade to it, so it should do just fine without one.

  • The HTC Hero is pretty awesome. Ive had it for a week or so. I love it.

  • is the hero really that wide?:(

  • No thats the US version

The Europe version is not like that! :D

  • i was talking about the us version i got it yesterday i like it alot :)

  • @icecoldnigga11 is uglier lol the europe version

  • no what?

  • @Bojorquez1995 i said no its really not that wide lol +D

  • oh haha i knew that lol

  • haha okay

  • Completely pointless to have a plastic shield on a glass screen. The shield will take damage that the glass would never suffer, plus, as pointed out in this video, the touch screen will lose sensitivity with a shield attached. Completely unnecessary, waste of time and makes your phone work less well.

  • wow, i always got problems with scratches.

  • it seems like i would rather not use a cover at all, becuase you can see all the scratches on the cover
