I would feed my turtle mike banana, romain lettuce, bell peppers, ...basically lots of vegetables like the pet shop advised. Then one day while I was feeding my Alligator Lizard, I dropped a mealworm into Mike's enclosure. He went nuts. I had never seen him move so fast to eat before. I found out his favorite was earthworms. I used to give him about 1 nightcrawler a week. Do you ever feed Koopa any meat? He might rear up faster if you did.
Cool but I'll never understand why people say "up" to an animal that doesn't even understand the itself muchless the world it's in.
all that turtles cares about is food.
