Did you max out loyalty on all of the ships? Because unless you're just a born master at wipeout, the hours you'd have to put into getting this good seem like a good indicator that you have 100,000 Loyalty points for every ship company... :P

@Tarantula33222 I've always been a D-pad user. Mainly from playing the original games all the way up to this one, it's always felt more precise to me. Plus, I tend to go a bit mad with the airbrakes and I'd struggle to keep the stick stable while mashing the shoulder buttons.

Have you considered playing GT5? You'll most likely need a driving rig in the later stages of the game, but I have confidence that you could pull it off.

I got platinum on Wipeout a while ago but just now got the DLC expansion with it being free for the Playstation 'Welcome Back' thing. Is the DLC as hard to 100% as getting platinum?

I haven't played for a while so I'm thinking my skills will have dissipated a bit.

@Deviantial 100% on fury is definitely easier than getting the platinum. but getting all elite golds is hard if you arent comortable with the new game modes (zone battle, detonator)

but since there is no need to get gold elite on fury to get all the trophies its much easier.

May I ask, I've set my airbrakes to L1 and R1, what sensitivity do you use? I used to prefer the full range of L2 and R2 with 100% sensitivity, but I'm thinking of using the lowest sensitivity to make the airbrakes digital, and switch to the d-pad instead of analog steering

I am doing the frenzy event in Elite atm. One thing I noticed is once you get the lead and managed to have a correct racing line, you win easily, the real struggle is getting there.

Maybe that's just me though...
