6 core Phenom II cpus are... well they are all about marketing. Nothing else.
It is well known that it's slow HT link and the slow cache holds it back even if the cores would be able to perform better..
Compared to the i7s QPI link, waaaay better memory controller and hyper-threading, hexa-core AMD-s will never be better than any of the i7s based on core architecture.(I own a Phenom II X4)
