Bose is the best general sound system and is a safe choice but B&O is significantly better, power isn't everything it's all about clarity and a full sound. The Harman Kardon with Logic 7 surround sound I tried in a 5 series BMW was good too.

@josito194 Es la autonomía estimada que te queda pero depende de según le hayas pisado previamente.......vamos que si has ido alegremente la estimación es menor que si vas suave y sería algo mayor....de todas formas es un 4200 cc V8 estando dentro de lo normal.

In Audi A8-R8-A/S5 A4 B&O i think 14 or 17 speakers

Ugh no, the Bowers & Wilkins system found in Jaguar XF's and XJ's is significantly better than any Bang & Olufson system. B&O is company that makes really expensive speakers but focuses on design. While B&W cares more about performance. The Bowers & Wilkins Diamond 800 speaker is only bested by a 10 X more expensive Snell THX reference tower, I doubt any car has a better system than the B&W...

Bang & Olufsen make the best sound systems on earth the sound is like pure concert experience with zero noise interference and everything is checked no less than 10 times before it’s fitted to ensure perfect sound is achieved.

I hope Porsche can upgrade their surround system to B&O. I know when sitting in the porsche, I won't need to listen to audio since the exhaust sound itself is already a symphony =D, but a B&O system would be a compliment to the already perfect engineering.

Bose is horrid.

H&K is definitely a better brand then Bose, Bose would qualify as mid level and H&K would be in the upper mid level and B&O would in the upper levels of audio quality IMO.

H&K is on the same level as Bose, as long as you get the more expensive Bose systems. B&O, however, can be said to be better than these two brands.

omg stereos need to be heated up just like cars do , the only diference is that take more time than engines to heat up in temps that allow max perfomance

FFS , warm up need even the components of the speakers , u are just "killing" the system slowly , ull not be noticing the loss in quality as ur ear will get used to it , but if u enter in a similiar well manered stereo ull go wtf ...

the bose sound system is alreaedy installed in most of the A3 and the other audis too, for my knwoing i can say that my sound system from bose is way better than much oher, for example in the 1er bmws

@simos88 In BMW 1 series you can have Harman/Kardon, which is excellent and much better than Bose.

I heard from bmw owners harman kardon isnt good, my Rx8 has bose and its pretty good but like most others are saying Band & Olufsen is the way too go

The Q7, R8, A8 etc...have the higher end version of the B&O sound system option which costs $7800.
