this song remind me of the old tony hawk games. not underground and stuff. i ment like tony hawk pro skater and shit. it just makes me feel like it shoulda been made and put into those games.
Those who are strong on criticism are really "punkyies" who believes Bad Religion is like "KISS" and it's gonaa play just the same kind of music over 30 years. U guys really do not get the music, not just hear but listen to the music, match it to the context of our times, to what's happening and specially to their beliefs as scientists.
Use your brains, it's not forbidden. Or U guys are just really "punkyies" and do not deserve to worship BR for you're not real fans.
This song, to me, is about how losing belief in something does not equate into losing belief in everything. Losing your faith in religion, on the contrary, can empower you to believe in yourself more. The someone to believe is you.
I've listened to the album now at least 25 times, and I have to say, there's only 2 songs I impulsively have to skip (Pride and the pallor and Where the fun is). I burned "Finite" on there as well, which is an absolute gem of a song. All in all: again a great effort for a great band
I don't think BR have run out of creativity. Greg feeds his songwriting from his academic work, so as long as he's doing research & teaching he'll have a new take on his songwriting. I think Greg's songs get better as he gets older. Brett, on the other hand, seems to pluck great songs out of thin air. But maybe an album every 2 years is too much. They should tour more :-) BR have a LONG way ahead yet. I sincerely hope so, anyway.
@thatdude8088 This one and resist stance have really nice melodies, but most of the songs lack both energy and melody. BR my favourite band by FAR but I think it's a very weak album lyrically. The rhymes in turn your back on me or ad hominem are teenage. It's hard to believe the same person wrote that that wrote Tiny Voices, Cease and Don't Sell Me Short. Nearly every song has a better parallel on a previous album. Finally they've ran out of creativity, happens to all aging bands.

@vekypula12345 The line "...and now you walk with confidence and ease." you omitted from the first and third verses in the description.
Also "...and now you have a purpose to proceed." from the second.
Haha no worries, only being critical - fun song-, thanks for the Upload buddy!

Long live Bad Religion. Been rocking for the greater part of 30 years and are still culturally relevant. What punk band can say that?
