just so you know.. hundreds of thousands of birds are being slaughtered and skinned just to support this trend. Ladies, there is NO need to use real feathers. There are tons of cruelty free brands out there that look amazing. Google "Picasso Hair Feathers'.. thats where i got mine. they lok waaaayy better and they are cheaper too.

Actually, If where you live has a "Super Cuts", They have it (feathers) there for $12 and they put it in for you, take it out when you want to take it out, move it to another spot if you want, etc. Im getting 3 for my birthday on November 16......can't wait! :) (And they have like EVERY color you can imagine plus those colors with black stripes....).If you have a "Super Cuts" near you, check it out!!!!

I talked to the Salon I got them from and asked who their supplier is, so I called them and asked them about their process for getting the feathers. You don't need to kill a rooster to get it's feathers, just like you don't need to kill a lamb to get it's wool.

@ivy3atsglitt3r i promise you without a doubt..that ANY feather that is long and skinny, the bird HAS been killed for it. if they tell you otherwise, they are simply lying in fear you wont buy the product. im sure that maybe a slim few will be shed but i assure you, these birds are killed for the feathers. they are raised humainly but they are genetically bred for this purpose for fly fishing and now "hair feathers". It works the same way it does at a chicken house! raised then killed

@offspringofhonesty Ok to remove the feathers you have to squeeze the link in the opposite direction. Meaning, when you inserted them u squeezed the link top and bottom. To remove, you want to squeeze left and right. Hope this helped. :)

did you know in order to the natural feathers you have to kill the bird it comes from. so synthetic feathers are better because it doesnt hard things! sure you cant curl it with heat but you can with a curling iron and some synthetic ones can be curled!!! and straightened!

@kimmybaeb12345 i have feather extensions, I have a video all about them on my channel, but you just wash your hair regular as if you dont even have them in. just make sure when u brush them and/or it, keep them out of the way. But when u shower, it just doesn't get in the way or anything. So just wash your hair as you would normally do it(:<
