Actually, Olberman was wrong. The firearm used would be legal. The magazine used (it's not a "clip") would be illegal. Even then, the mag is ONLY illegal if obtained after the law went into effect. Actually, Olberman was wrong. The firearm used would be legal. The magazine used (it's not a "clip") would be illegal. Even then, the mag is ONLY illegal if obtained after the law went into effect. You could still own *standard* capacity mags that held more than 10 rounds under Clinton as long as you bought them prior to the ban.
As I understand, pre-ban mags could even be legally transferred between individuals under the AWB.

After M. L. King (who was reconciliatory) died, the Black civil liberties movement took a radical turn and became more antagonistic. Al Sharpton, who worked with King, is a 'media whore'. He is not helping the black people. My best friend, who is black, does not support him, neither to a lot of my other black friends.
We need to love one another regardless of race. Not let someone use that as an excuse to divide us.

I've never met one black person (I live in Milwaukee, mind) who supports Sharpton's attitudes. I honestly don't think he has any real support outside of himself. Media storms are never the best way to solve problems. (I don't think he'll ever figure out that his angle's not working. God only knows what MLK would think of where the movement has gone.)
I do wish we could all get along. True racial equality comes about when race becomes a non-issue. We're all people.
