@daniela78595 It's a very late answer, but I couldn't hold my emotions... It's a Dinamo Moscow gymnastics gym, one of the oldest in Russia!!! That club produced many champions and survived hard times Russia's been through after USSR collapsed. That white D on blue abbreviation for Dinamo was on my first competivie leotard )

It is Russian school of gymnastics. And one think in Russian sport schools is discipline. These kids are taught from a very early age to work hard and respect their elders. Such an important part.

I remember when I did gymnastics. It's such hard work! Everyone goes through a lot of sweat and tears.

As i see such vids, i keep wondering, what would have happened if i joined a gymnastic group when i was their age!! I properbly should have, since gymnastics became a great handicap for me later in life, starting from my school-years on...

God, I wish people would shut up about stuff they clearly don't have any experience with. Yes, these gymnasts train a lot. But when you enjoy what you're doing and you're good at it, it's not a hard sacrifice to make - you organise yourself better and live your life. Children aren't as stupid as people think, they are capable of enjoying things and figuring out what they don't. But sure, go ahead making your comments while you sit in front of the TV eating cereal all day or go to the mall.

Wonderful to watch. So beautiful and moving. God Bless Russia. I plan to defect there one day. I had to do gymnastics from the age of five at school. Starting with forward rolls. I'll never forget it. It felt odd at first, particularly as a boy, having to run about in shorts. Yet it also felt so liberating and expressive. I became aware I had a human spirit too. I'll always be grateful to my teacher. In weeks we were all trained. Doing perfect forward rolls in quick succession to this stopwatch.

Where is their child hood ? There was a doc not long ago that told a story of many young gymnasts in Russia that have really horrible lives. They are pushed and pushed by not only the trainers, but their parents to. When they make a mistake, they are told they are no good. This was rec on hidden cam. However they did not have a life out of the gym. If they where not there, they would of been living on the streets, doing drugs etc. What can be done to help these kids?

Very talented little gymnasts and so young too. My son has an excellent Russian coach, he trains in Ireland. You can watch some of his gymnastics under his name Rhys McClenaghan. You can probably see his coach in the clip, maybe you know him!

Besides that, I don't quite see how those gymnasts are supposed to be of much benefit to their country. That's not how you raise famous physicists, that's how you raise mindless drones. @apomk2 : Considering the tough times Russia has endured post-USSR they are a Sports World Power, always surpassing Germany, France, and England put together: 2nd place in Atlanta 96, 2nd place in Sydney, 3rd place in Athens 04 (which is a silly 3rd place, because Russia won 92 medals while China that was 2nd place in the medal table with only 68 medals, but won more golds), and 3rd place in Beijing. And before that the USSR surpassed the USA in the vast majority of Summer and Winter Olympics.

I understand that the kids would be well disiplined but this video is only showing the good part of the class.There are other videos revealing when Russian gymnastics trainers do drastic things.They would hit the kids and hurt them and yell at them.Also when he helped the children stretch he put them to limits above there ability.He made them cry and scream and I saw one kid screaming "You're giving me cramps!"and the trainer said"To bad.You will grow to be a winner!"I don't think thats right!
