id have to say i like my guitars equally. Sorry if that doesnt help. Any guitar can achieve awesome tone if you have the right pick-ups and playing capability

What settings are you using on your spider?

@slipnarf hey, i have it set on insane, mids are scooped out or turned all the way down, treble is at 10, bass is at 10, drive is at 7.5....then i have chorus on a little bit(which gives it a little more gain i noticed) and i have delay set on fast turned up a little bit.

The delay timing is set real close together in order to mimic a doubler effect.

practice practice, do u know how to read tab? it helps to memorize the notes before hand when playing music. Also look up some fingeing techniques to help increase your fingers dexterity.

practice chromatic scales. it will get all of your fingers used to being positioned on all of the fret board, they all get a turn lol

ill be honest im totally musically lliterate so im not good at techniques. i can just play what i like. i set a window open with tab and then set a video to help with finger placement. probably the same as you do,lol.

hmm, pinching is always hard for me to explain. pick hits first obviously then a little thumb but dont concentrate on the thumb hitting because its possible to pinch without hitting your thumb on the string at all. i kinda use the sharp side of the pick and tip. if i had my camera set up id make a quick lesson vid for you. search pinch harmonic lessons on youtube. if that doesnt t help dont worry because im going to make a video this weekend on natural harmonic squeals and also pinch harmonics.
