  • Top 20 Mickey Mantle Babe Ruth Ty Cobb Willie Mays Joe Dimaggio Ted Williams Pete Rose Cal Ripken Jr. Hank Aaron Ken Griffey Jr. Cy Young Roberto Clemente Stan "The Man" Musial Brooks Robinson Ichiro Suzuki Nolan Ryan Roger Clemens Ricky Henderson Albert Pujols Greg Maddux This is IMO...as far as Baseball goes it is the most diffucult sport to determine a clear cut top 10 or GOAT.
  • @MrSlik25 Good list. Except fof Rose, Brooks, Ryan and Young. IMO

  • @MJVESSIO 16 out of 20 is good...whats your list?

  • @MrSlik25 16 out of 20 is great as far as two people agreeing on baseball matters. See my "Top50&Why" video for my top20.

    peace

  • @MJVESSIO I have to ask you...Why would you not consider Pete Rose or Nolan Ryan not top 20 players of all time? More hits than Ty Cobb.....The Longevity, Most strikeouts, & 7 no hitters...Brooks Robinson is more of a personal fave i admit...and Cy Young i just think the name speaks for itself kinda. if you could replace the four on my list that you didnt like, who would you insert?

  • WHo cares if hes a DH it doesnt make him a bad player i dont like this video

  • This so called top 10 was terrible.. Ted Williams didn't make the list. Or Willy Mays. Or Cy Young. Or Walter Johnson. Or Cal Ripken Jr. Or Griffey. Must I go on? The quality of the video is bad. It was a headache to read. You have to learn how to deal with people on the internet. Fun fact, People usually have a different opinion! ESPECIALLY when it comes to sports!! No need to get mad at them for it.

After all, YOU'RE the one who posted this for everyone.

  • @hannigan227 must you go on? who made you the authority? ted was a loser and d.h., mays had a low ob% and could not beat the dodgers with his team of stars, young won half his games before 1900, ripken is nowhere near top 10. what are you kidding? get mad at people like u? u take this too seriously.

do some research kid. and see my top50 for the real deal. fun fact...having an opinion on something you know very little about doesn't mean you give it. get it?

  • @MJVESSIO Kid? Hahahhaa, I know little about baseball? You're a joke, kid. When people know more about something than you, Don't act like you know everything. Read the comments. The list is wrong. You can't act like we shouldn't give an opinion about this because everyone but you apparently knows nothing.

By the way, Ted Williams STILL hit 521 homeruns with 1839 RBI's in his career even though nearly missing 4 complete seasons.

How about you do some research and then come at me, bro.

  • @hannigan227 the absurdity of numbers kid. don't fall for it. and he missed 5 seasons knucklehead. intangible greatness destroys numbers every time; see russell to wilt, jeter to aroid, mantle to mays and any winner to teddy cakes. and your a bore kid.

  • @MJVESSIO Hahahahahaha, Thank you. The comedy I've gotten from this video is GOLDEN. A parody of what a real top ten list should be. AND an uploader who fights with everybody who comments his stuff. Grow up, kid. :)

  • @MJVESSIO I made a similar video. I was wondering what you thought of it. If you click on my channel it is the very first video you will see. It is also about the greatest baseball players of all time.

  • Where is Hank Aaron?

  • sucked

  • @nyfan102 great thought provoking comment. you convinced me to delete the vid. thank you genius.

  • bullshit list ken griffey jr should be in the top 10 no doubt. the only player in the 90's who didnt use roids. instead he used hes legs and hips to hit 630 roid free home runs..

  • @wsslim803 just checked out your bullshit channel. nothin there. same as in your head? make a vid genius...i dare you! lol

ken griffey's very low lifetime on-base percentage is the killer. and he never won. end of discussion. wake up goofy.

  • this video sucks

  • @SuperTom374 sorry...i'll delete it just for you peter gammons.

  • Yeah forget Ted Williams. He only had the second highest batting average of all time, .344. Forget he was the last person to hit .400. And he did this losing 4 years in his prime to fight in two wars.

  • @ckcadams 344 not 2nd highest....he missed 5 years.....ww2 he did nothing but train to be a pilot, so he did not fight in ww2.....on my top50 he is 15. nuff said

  • @MJVESSIO Actually, your right he did only train in ww2. He did fly in Korea, got shot down, and lost most of his hearing.

  • @MJVESSIO In Korea, Ted Williams flew 39 combat missions before being being withdrawn from flight status in June 1953 after a hospitalization for pneumonia. This resulted in the discovery of an inner ear infection that disqualified him from flight status. During the Korean War, Williams served the same Marine Corps unit with John Glenn, and in the last half of his missions, Williams was flying as Glenn's wingman.

    Nice TRY...

  • Next time you do a top ten of the best baseball players ever, maybe you should have some idea who has played the game. Half these guys don't make the top 25. Get a clue.

  • WHERE IS MOOKIE WILSON?? WHERE IS MOOKIE!!!!!

  • @examinfo In your head.

  • Austria doesn't play baseball dude! And I'm pretty sure Mozart dosn't either.

  • @thegoldenpeacedude99 Nothing like a comment from another youtube idiot. We are blessed by your response, genius.

  • Where the hell is Carl Yasztremski. 2nd all time in games played, 2nd all time in At bats, 6th on the all time list with hits (3419), first American League player ever to hit 400 home runs and get 3000 hits. Knew the "Green Monster" of Fenway better than any player who ever lived and the last player to win the triple crown in 1967

  • Tris Speaker doesn't make your top 10??

  • @bryantuten On my revised top 50 he is 7.

  • Ty Cobb is without a doubt number 2 and Ted Williams is in the top 5 Rogers Hornsby should be on the top 10

  • @mb9607 You just named 3 of the biggest losers and disruptive players in the history of the game. A criminal, an A-1 selfish ass-hole and the worst fielding 2nd baseman in history (who happened to be a thug). You can have them. Give me Musial over Ted any day, Robinson or Collins over Hornsby and Mantle, Mays, Bell, Dimaggio or Charleston over Ty "I beat up fans, umpires and teamates" Cobb. Good luck with that. You youtubers gotta get over your reliance on numbers only.

  • @MJVESSIO Wtf are u talking about Ted Williams was a great second baseman, Ty Cobb was great, no one cares about anyones attitude you pussy.

  • @DwightWhite78 Ted Williams was a great second baseman?

  • @MJVESSIO maybe but sorry i have only 15 years old i werent alive in 1910 i cannot know all you say about Ty Cobb but when we talk about statistics those 3 are amazings !

  • @mb9607 I wasn't alive either in 1910. Read and do a little research.

  • ted williams number 1

  • love the tigers cobb could have be like 4 or 5 and u could have added al kaline he wa amazing but i liked how u had wgner at 3 because he was the best fielder ever no dought about it

  • Bonds was a juicer. See my top 50 for Aaron.

  • where the hell is barry bonds and hank aron

  • solid list. did rickey henderson make honorable mention?

  • @brynnedalynn I think I have Rickey 37 in my top 50.

  • wat about gehrig mays and honus should be number 2 or number1

  • Ty Cobb wasn't great, he was a racist pig with a crappy attitude! screw him!

  • people are afraid to make the jump. there are 27 negro league stars in the hall. there is too much written testimony about how great these players were. no more excuses. i even know an older gentleman who played with paige and josh gibson.

  • My list 1.Babe Ruth 2.Willie Mays 3.Ty Cobb 4.Hank Araon 5.Walter Johnson 6Josh Gibson 7.Honus Wagner 8.Ted Williams 9.Micky Mantle 10.Tris Speaker
  • @ThePhilliesforlife

look at the records, Ty Cobb was a much better player than Ruth, Ruth hit homeruns, Cobb was valuable and got many more hits? look at the records

  • @tommy81296 see my top 50

  • 1 Babe Ruth

    2 Ted Williams

    3 Willie Mays

    4 Mickey Mantle

    5 Lou Gehrig

    6 Hank Aaron

    7 Cy Young

    8 Yogi Berra

    9 Mariano Rivera

    10 Albert Pujojs

  • @ColomaBoys no offense but ur stupid

  • This is one of the worst lists ive ever seen. Willie Mays is number one by far. I dont care who you put after that, but Willie Mays made it up as he went along. He was terrific and its sad the giants moved to San Francisco. If they stayed in New York he would be known as the best.

  • @milkmanjz3 There are many ifs in baseball. what if ruth pitched, what if satchel paige pitched his whole career, what if bo jackson played just baseball. if he stayed in new york IF

  • thank you

  • Honus should be like first or second goining 10 to 1

  • @bsubroncswsucougs got honus no1 on my revised top 50.

  • wheres chase utley i wanna see best 2010 not these old dudes ive never heatd of

  • No mays, gehrig, foxx,. This probably the worst list ive seen

  • @21MarkakisFan SEE THE TOP50 & WHY?, Mr. Know-it-all

  • no, rojo johnson is the best

  • no ken griffey jr

  • WHERES JULIO LUGO!!!

  • ok just kidding but josh gibson hit over 800 home runs. he should b higher

  • you have this messed up, jackie robinson is clearly at least #2

  • @nmeyers0018 jackie robinson is not thenumber 2 ball player of all time, hes probably not even top 50. this is a good list, its hard to compare the live and dead ball players, but this kid knows his baseball history. nice job
