This was the original theme song for Metal Gear Solid. Someone making the game stole it from some Russian composer who had written this years before. As a result they had to hire Williams to write an all new song for MGS2 and the subsequent Metal Gear games.

@JackBauerSnake Metal Gear Solid 2 is in ebay, and in my country (spain) in many shops, like game, mediamark and gamestop. Metal Gear Solid for ps1 is hard to find, try in internet, or play it on psx emulators for pc or psp, for exemple.

Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 - Solid Snake are in MGS3 - Subsistance, and of course allways can u play both in an msx2 emulator, like BlueMSX.

Hey is this track actually in MGS 1 for PS1? it sounds like the rest of the music but i dont remember this track anywere in the game.... MGS3 came out in 2005 (PS2)

MGS4 came out in 2008 (PS3)

He did suck up the series. Kojima went form a great game like MGS1 of Liquid continuing what Big Boss ended at to talking A.I. from MGS2. If you asked me Kojima went all weird and went Matrix style which is one of the reasons i hate MGS2.
