About 40% of people are B12 deficient and less than 5% of people are vegetarians. The problem is, as you age you loose your ability to absorb B12 from food. This is called atrophic gastritis which means the stomach secretes less hydrochloric acid, pepsin and intrinsic factor that are needed to absorb B12. This is very common in older people. All people should take B12 regardless of whether you are a vegan or meat eater. It really is a silly debate when people say vegans are B12 deficient.
I've been to many of this Dr's lectures. He's very knowledgable and I feel so fortunate to have him a part of the Minneapolis raw foods communtity. I have learned so much. Thanks Dr. T for taking the time to put the Dr. T in 3 series out for all of us to benefit from.
How about no? Nice tactic taking both sides so no one is offended more.
Next he'll be saying get your vaccines here, oops someone already uploaded a video like that, can already see it in the "related videos". Stinks of American advertising too.
"Sublingual": under the tongue. This means the supplement is in liquid or powder form and you put it under your tongue and let it dissolve or seep into your tissue to be effective.
thanks, I seen a Metholcobolamin B12 supplement here in the UK, tablet forms, but instructions also to put under the tongue, is this as effective as a sublingual or is it also a sublingual?
By the way do you know how to see the Telesememers on this channel?
Should children be taking VIT B?? I have just recently become Raw vegan because of health issues, and have also taken my daughter off of meat and dairy (she is 21 months old) Should I be giving my daughter a b12 and multi vitamin?? This is something I have been thinking about. Thank you!!
thank you

Cyanocobalim? I don't know what you're trying to figure out but that is a form of B12

of course it's the meat creating the defficiency, it couldn't be all the other crap people eat that damage the digestive system.

Shandy, ancestors breastfed up to 7 yrs, providing offspring with B12, rather than feeding babies meat or cow milk.
