I remember hearing this theme for the first time when the movie was televised. I was blown away by it then, and still am. Henry Mancini put it best about Goldsmith as a composer, "he scares the hell out of us.". That he does.

@UFOSPACE1999 Horner's 'Futile Escape' in Aliens has a remarkably similar motif to Goldsmith's Capricorn One and I've heard that Horner may have also used something similar in Titanic.

Bedtime Story's theme is good, but this version of Kay's theme is awesome. Jerry Goldsmith was, and always will be, a great composer.
