  • I really don't see why people always take shit so easily... there must be some mind control in the media...

  • i wish there was no such thing as homeless, and pain, sadness, what happened to this world?

  • I think this is dangerous all the things that can happen living there ,,rats disease mice the water isnt pure who knows the water could have urine in it,,,not to mention the smell,,,if they get bit by a rat or stray dog they can surly pick up some disease and spread it around to others up above,,,where can they go maybe the state can do something,,maybe alot of them can try and get jobs,,nursing homes are so understaffed,,maybe they can do something to help the community

  • @lovinglaughingcrying Sad but true. Cuba/Miami is really nice this time of year...

  • This is the New Amerika. Welcome.

  • 3:00 "we could be that light at the end of the tunnel"

Man, it doesn't get any more literal than that!

Hope they got a brighter future ahead of them.

  • This is the American Dream.! :P

  • Wow

  • mike looks like the actor in umm u know the one who acted with selma hayek

  • Casino's should be forced to pay for the housing of these people, they are in an evil business and are well aware they bankrupt families.

  • 2002 to 2008 home price was up very high $780,000 for a avg house 2009 $200,000 and less

  • Okay lemme get this straight....... You lose your job... so you decide to go live inside... A... SEWER RUNOFF DRAIN?!?!

  • @Cardoniman Poverty decides for them.

  • I say gas 'em. Throw a can of Zyklon-B down the tunnel and exterminate the begging rats. If you actually believe that these losers have recently lost their homes or jobs, you're an idiot. The rats have lived this way for YEARS, with no intention of bettering themselves. They have no responsibilities and they want it that way. We as a society owe these rats NOTHING. It's their choice to be "free", as they call it.They should be rounded up and shipped off to a deserted island far away from society

  • @Moralvorstellung7 Thats very rude bro.messed up

  • Choices. It all comes down to the choices these losers made.I have no sympathy for worthless losers who insist on not working, getting the food for free and begging coins from hard working people. The notion that these rats were once hard working and recently lost their home and employment is a crock of shit. These rats have lived this way for YEARS and have no desire to work. They are a menace to hard working citizens. Can't even take your kids to a park without seeing these drunken bums. Fuck

  • be safe in a tornado down there

  • The thing about Vegas is, people came there to make an easy buck. Hitchhiking, taking the plane, whatever. Then they would gamble, and lose.. Once you lose, you are stuck there. You can't hang out in the casinos. You can stand out in the sun. Place is pretty hot, and dry. So, what do you do? Try to hitchhike out? Good luck, for people leaving in their cars, either lost all their money, and don't want company, or have a lot of money, and are worried about being robbed. LOLOLOL!

  • @ISingBetterThanMJ That's the truth

  • @Auckletonline Oh jeeze! What rock did you crawl underneath from?

  • This explains why I wanna go out and help people when I'm older, I don't care about the pay, I'll still have my main job, but really my life goal is to reach out to people like this and change lives.

  • If it rains, you are screwed!

  • @ISingBetterThanMJ its las vegas... a desert...

  • @MrFlowFTW I lived in that place ten years. Believe me! It does rain, sometimes, but it does!

  • @MrFlowFTW And, I watched them build this drainage system too. I was living there before it was built... I never imagined for a minute people would live in there... That is just asking for it... The rain can, and will come. And, these people will get washed away....

  • well yea the american dream means buying tons of junk and being cooler than your neighbor... the interviewer is a dick

  • @Auckletonline I care about non of u but the third world.. no middle east nor eastern europeans.. only third world people.. the rest of u can east shit and fuck yourselves into a new race of cunt dwelling cave rats

  • This hurts

  • @Auckletonline america is fucking fags they wont evan help homeless

  • @FPSAnarchy

They've all gone over the top mental with their anti-welfare ideologies. They no longer see the human. Its just an excuse to be tight or heartless a lot of the time.

Either a person cares about their fellow human or he doesn't; either you want to help or you don't. If you do and you have some spare change you are free to make a donation whatever your ideology is.

  • This sucks what's happening in Vegas! I grew up there and will always remember when times were different and people weren't living in caves. God delivered be out of the desert 6 yrs. ago and into the light I still have loved ones there and prey everyday they get out of the desert and into the light with me.

  • Normal broke Americans..Notice him smoking his $5.00 Cigarettes but cannot buy food.Lets do some math kids, a very light smoker averages 1 pack in 24 hours,, 5 x $5.00= $25.00 which could have been spent on some cheap looking for a job clothes,a cheap razor, and some cheap survival food...I know I have been there..There IS always a way out,you just need to have the will power.

  • made my top five

  • Avg home was $700,000 and up in 2002 - 2008 2009 was 60% 70% 80% off

the fed loan the banks 9 trillion in sep ,oct 2008 on top of the bail out 700 billion

  • @PREPAREFORTHEKING I just looked at Craig's List for jobs in Las Vegas and there are plenty of jobs available! Part time, full time, from car washes to medical doctors.

I'm thinking now is the time to move to the Entertainment Capital Of The World! (formerly known as Sin City)

I'm sure the 7/11 people can barely speak English and you're exaggerating quite a bit. Tell me your skill level and I'll find you a job tonight.

  • @1971SuperLead LOL'' These people do not want a job...

  • @gazaking765 I admit that jobs suck and that I've considered running off into the woods and living like an American Native because I just couldn't stand making another asshole rich by being his bitch. Working a job is little better than being a slave.

  • @1971SuperLead Yup,..that's the long and short of it..If you ain't living in the streets, your taking shit from from obnoxious asshole who thinks you need to kiss their ass they let you work for them. Thank the good Lord above your living in America though,..the best country for dogs to fight for the crumbs.

  • @crusty21 Ruff grrrrrr

  • @crusty21 Yo wouldn't be in this position if you lived in almost any other 1st world country.

  • I Was a tunnel dweller now im not thank you matt Obrien and help of so nev... Dennis G.

  • @yikescat56

I am happy to hear this news. Way to go Dennis.!!!

  • People need to fucking help each other, when i see people with milions just spilling it on useless shit it makes me mad. If i had that money i would help these people.

  • Waiting for the three bars on the fruit machine.

  • @caponestrigga Ok, explain why these fine people don't get jobs and get apartments? Don't tell me that they can't get jobs for a see scum with jobs all the time. If they are diabled then they need to go on disability. But for an abled body person, there are plenty of crappy jobs available. I think they just prefer to live in the gutter than work at Walmart or Taco Bell. Let's see, 8 bucks an hour 24 hours a week is $900 a month.....oh ya, you can rent a room or share an apartment even on that.

  • @1971SuperLead $8/hr at 24 hours a week only comes out to a little under $800 a month. I have no idea how you got $900. In addition, taxes will probably cut that down to $600. You can live off $600 a month just fine for most people. When the $600 goes to rent and you're left with nothing, though, that's a problem.

  • @hunterr83 I agree & I couldn't find anything in my area under $600. Then you've got to factor in utilities... and a phone if you work, they have to be able to reach you. What about transportation back & forth to work? Either you take a cab, bus or you need gas for your car. What if you have a car payment? People don't really understand until they've been there, until then they are just guess & don't really know what they are talking about.

  • @Asshole, Unless you know what the fuck your talking about you really need to refrain from commenting. I was homeless in the early 90's and even then it was ruff and once you get into that situation w noones help your fucked...plain and simple! Unless someone comes along and saves you from it.

  • @djkissbird Their problem is not that jobs aren't available, but that they are too emotionally or mentally challenged to get a job. I agree that once you are "homeless" (they are not really homeless, their home is under the street) that you fall into a emotional downhill spiral. Your self esteem can easily be reduced to nothing. It is almost impossible to get a job with zero self esteem. It is quite a catch 22, and these people do need help....and that's why I suggested they find a church.

  • @caponestrigga I read the articles and know of tent cities. That said, I would like to see actual interviews with these people. I think you will find not hard working familys, but ex cons and those types in these cities. If you have children you can get financial aid and housing. What we have here is the mentally challenged, addicts, ex cons, etc. I highly doubt the Brady Bunch is going to be found here.

  • @caponestrigga Having been an apartment leasing agent, I can tell you right now that no large complex is going to allow most these people to move in. Felony records and bad credit are not tolerated. If people can't get a job or an apartment it's because they have criminal records or bad credit. Either way, they have put themselves where they are. I know things are tough out there but you have to have serious personal issues to end up living in the gutters. "You gotta get your mind right Luke"

  • @caponestrigga There was a bit of humor to it, but there is truth that the programs to put these people in apartments suggests that I may be getting a drug user or a felon for a neighbor, hence my concern to now move into a more expensive residence....oh, and won't those people now want to move up as well when they get a load of me! lol

In other words, I don't like people living in the gutters, but I don't want those people for neighbors either. What a paradox.

  • @caponestrigga Come on. It's the truth. Anyone can get a job and afford an apartment.....unless they are drug addicts or have criminal rap sheets. I suppose they might just be super lazy, but that's not my impression.

There is always work available to those willing to work.

These people might try going to church to get back on their feet.

  • @1971SuperLead I don't understand the cashier's situation. She lost her job of 23 years and moved into the gutter? There must be more to the story for 23 years of steady employment should have built up some personal wealth over the years. No unemployment checks either? No 401k to drain? No family support? No savings? Was she just a renter for 23 years? I suspect a mental illness or a judgment against her. It's not like she worked 23 years and then had nothing.

  • @1971SuperLead Happens to more people, than you can imagine.. I was lucky myself. I had a place paid off, when I became disabled. But, most people don't think ahead like that...

  • @ISingBetterThanMJ If a person is disabled they need to go on disability, not move into a gutter.

  • @1971SuperLead Las Vegas is not the only place in the US where people live in gutters....

  • @ISingBetterThanMJ No doubt

  • @1971SuperLead Many of the homeless we help get disability checks & it is not nearly enough to pay a rent, utilities & food. Disability is just not enough to survive on.

  • @feedthehomelesstour The minimum is $671 a month. That's enough to rent a room or share an apartment. There certainly is no reason to live in the gutter.

  • that sad wondering were did the iraqi oil goes! who you replace it blood of yours own ppl and iraqi civillan ppl!

  • Wow, these drug addicted criminals are getting apartments. I guess I need to move up before they become my neighbors.

  • and thanks to Obama telling Americans to stay away from las Vegas ..there will be a lot more.

  • SAD AS HELL to say the least
