ahhh such happy memories of this place!!! I was lucky enough to have had many holidays down in Gurnard in our own Chalet on Rew Street!! Can remember crabbing on the Luck with my brother and sisters and have competitions to see who could catch the most!!! Winkeling on the beach was our favourite and getting our Grandma to cook them up for us in her Chalet on the Marsh, Bosun's Locker!!! This video has really made me smile. And I'm sure and long residents of Gurnard will remember us too!!

wow - that brings back memories of my childhood growing up on the Isle of Wight. Used to go to Gurnard with my parents for a trip from Parkhurst. Played on the putting green as well. Live in Canada now so was nice to see the views agin. Thank you.

Hi Bob, I came across this collection of photos by chance and you have taken pictures of the area I know so well. I recognise nearly all the places you have taken as I walked my dog on the same route dozens of times. A photo even shows my "boat" in the Luck ( the small river that you crossed) fame at last! thanks greg for comments these photos are of the isle of wight which is just of the south coast of england but i did live in berwick for 14 years before moving down southampton and go back to see my mum and brother all the best to you and yours bobbness (tony)

Hi Bob I enjoy looking at photos from the other Berwick. with your slide shows. Its almost like being there. do more local scenery. Im from the other Berwick in Pennsylvania in the USA. I have others on my site from around the Berwick Pa area
