I bought a sewing machine just so I can make one of these bags! I'm going to start off doing one without a ruffle and just one handle to start with. Making it for my Mum and she's very picky lol.
I love it! You are too critical on the other bags, they are just as georgous. I would be proud to sport any of them. You have come a long way in a short amount of time since you bought your sewing machine. Very inspiring.
This is soooo cute. I love your way of being "no big deal" kinda of a thought here and there! I'm a virgo and we tend to be perfectionists, so it is something I need to work on. I have a pattern for a shoulder bag but scared I'll mes it up. This is super cute though Angie!

love the bag tutorial. a suggestion for the bottom of the bag: I did a few stitches to anchor the plastic piece to the corners of the bottom of the bag so that it doesn't shift about. =)

I think the imperfection in the ruffle gives it a home-like character feel. Love the ideas, and you did a great job for it being the first time! :)
