Hey, I bought a Slash wah a few years ago and from the day I got it it howls and screeches loud with even a little gain, if you turn the gain mostly down the wah is really quiet but anything over a certain point and it goes nuts. Does anyone else have this problem?

the REAL cry baby pedal is the VOX ,it was Bill Page by mistake that invented this pedal from an organ volume pedal.Its kind of lame now other guitar players releasing the same pedal with some adds instead of trying ti invent something new like Bill Page,Peter Frampton and Jimi Hendrix.

I love Slash but I think this pedal has too many bells and whistles.I own the Zakk Wylde wah and absolutely love it especially when you put it with a distorted amp.It doesn't get muddy and has a very wide sweep even so that I had to dial it back just a touch.
