@n0MEXCY Top end rackets do not come necessarily with 'top end strings' because they don't really exist! Each player plays badminton in their own way and so you should choose string to suit your performance. Some prefer durable strings whilst others like myself prefer thinner strings with higher repulsion. String tension is also a big point.
Good stringing in my opinion should be 1) done by a reputable stringer! 2) Pre stretched before installing 3) Follow the correct tension pattern!
hi there nice video shot by you.... is it the Yonex Arcsaber 10 is used by Peter gade? I am currently looking for a racket..but i not sure how to choose, i am a ordinary player..mostly play double for offensive and defensive sometimes...i saw the Yonex Arcsaber Z-Slash which used by Tago or Taufit hidayat...is there any fake racket in the market?cuz i saw the price in Malaysia is Rm125 which is okay...or may be you got better suggestion? what the rackets price u showed in the video above? thx =D
@rainbikorea Yes he uses this racket too. I can't give you much indication as to the racket you should choose cause don't really know how you play. Things you should look out for is the racket head shape SQ or ISO. Secondly the racket stiffness. Thirdly the handle size. Fourthly the weight and lastly the Brand!
Don't make the mistake of buying the most expensive racket out there and hoping you'll mould to it. Marketing is the devil when it comes to sporting gear!
@kishno nice review, but can you tell me the difference between the flexibilty of the rackets e.g very stiff, stiff, medium and flexible and what they are most compatible for? also nice music in backround what's the name of it
@kishno yeh it is, but i was lucky cos hes won many tournaments and recieved rackets as a prize....but i had no ideah how lucky i was, im almost tempted to resell it lol
Is the arc10 really slimmer? I mean looking at it, it's no slimmer than any of my Victor Braveswords or Superwaves. But as for tension, it works kind of like this, if you don't over string and abuse, the racquet will outlive you. If you over string it, there is a greater chance of it breaking when you hit it against, well anything lol
I think DnKenneth is right. The NS series can go up to around 30lbs before voiding the warranty. 22lbs is considered very loose if the max is 22lbs its most likely counterfeit.
The racket has printed to recommended highest tension. I didn't imply that that's all you could go upto.
You may wish to have this instruction confirmed by Yonex themselves if you find it hard to believe.
These rackets were also bought from a large Yonex certified sports centre. Their codes have been confirmed by a number of people to be geniune rackets as I sold the Arcsaber to someone through Badminton Central.com.
I'm sorry but I think your rackets are fake, excluding the isometric.
The NS6000 and Arc10 doesn't come prestrung and with the logo of yonex on the strings it indicates that it did come prestrung. And i guarentee you that the high end NS series can be strung up to 28lbs not 22lbs.

Arcsaber Z-slash is better yes, but remember this video was created a while back before the even the 9900 came out... Z-slash have gone into Carlton territory with the smaller and rounder headsize.
We could be seeing some major head to head competition between the two now.
Umm jalanparidedap, you are the biggest dick wad I know cos if a rackets 30 lbs i.e 30 pounds you wudnt be aable to lift it. Asshole, its the string tension thats 30lbs.
@Eskn69 Hey, give Apacs a try. Pretty much all their rackets max tension is 30lbs. Or if 30lbs isn't enough for you, try the Apacs Lethal 70 racket. Max tension 45lbs. No joke.
Yeah would be worth getting the Arc Z Slash now if you're willing to spend in that region mate. Keep in mind though the Arc Z Slash has a G3 grip size.
in my opinion MP99 is the most beautiful and most powerful racket i have ever played, I love it! play it with BG80 or BG68Ti @ 28lbs tension and you will see;)
the YONEX Arcsaber 10 can withstand a tension of up to 25 lbs. A higher tension is not necessary, even not for an offensive style of playing! You should better learn something about rackets before you write such a trash.
Hello. Nice vid =D How is the arcsaber 10 to play with? i got the FZ n-power 150 and i just love it so good to play with. you should try it =D btw are you good? Make a video of you playing Badminton =D
is the head heavy of arcsaber10 very very heavy that it can pull your hand when you swing it??.... because all websites review said that its like sharp blade cutting through the air.... and is it good for drops and techniques??
This racket is head heavy yes. Speed through the air purely depends on how well trained your wrists and arms are in my opinion.
I admit it took me at least 10 2 hour sessions of badminton to appreciate this rackets ability after which I started using it all the time.
As for whether it's good at performing drops and what not, the racket is as good as the player. The racket WILL perform as long as your technique and monouvarability is of a good standard on the court.
I seriously didn't to be honest! I just thought I'd add something to say about the rackets rather than just showing it... Anyone feel free to mute the blabber!
hey, out of curriosity why do you have differen't racquets... you should probably have a few of the same racquet so if you break strings during a match you don't have to adjust to the feel of a new racquet...
Yeah very good question. My very first racquet (aluminium one) was when I first entered the badminton sport. I didn't want to get rid of it as it's heavier and good for training my arm strength and technique.
The Nanospeed 6000 was my girlfriends racquet as she comes to play at clubs with me. Unfortunately it collided with my training racket and made her collapse. £90 odd down the drain.
My Arcsaber is my main racquet and I play with that one most of the time.
yea i have seen your iteam on ebay nd it looks oke to meee but the think is in uk now badminton club is over . . . i am only gettting a new after summer when the club starts again.. so cant really cant buy it right now but for the arcsaber 10 you can put the string tennsion up to 28lbs. 25lbs and 26lbs is the mid range..
yea man i wanted one for my type of playing batminton ... i am not 16 yet but and goint o be 16 in 4 moths i am in the junior 's grade B team
and i wanted one of thses arcsaber 10s and my friend told me the best thing about the arcsaber is hold ing light .... now i am getting nanospeed 9900 best racquect...
any way i know you can get sp version of this in ebay for £20 + £5 pp but how much you asking for your s
Nanospeed 9900 isn't the best racket, its just the newest racket in the Nanospeed series. One could say the like a different racket from the same series or from a different one is more to their liking. Also, the racket isn't as good as the handler, the racket does help a lot in matches but it doesn't help at all if you can't play. xD
Neither the Nanospeed 9000S or Nanospeed 9000X are flexible. They are both quite stiff, I've tried the S version and the X version is actually stiffer than the S version
we have a saying in malaysia. the racket doesn't make the player, it's the player who makes the game. dont be dissappointed if ur dad wont have u pro rackets. keep ur practice well.
Well in all honesty, if your a hard hitter i'd give Babolat Hyperbraid string ago normally very strong and durable but at the same time generates alot of power, most of the time i string my rackets at 25, so i'd reccommend 25lbs. Another string is obviously Yonex Nanogy 95, this is my string of choice while being durable it generates a mass amount of power and i'm a hard hitter so this is a good String, also at 25lbs. So any of these two i'd recommend both cost roughly 10 quid for a 10m spool.
Hey Thompsyzoombla, looking forward to your vid, give us a shout when its up!
I've got a question for you and anyone that can help.... I've been searching for a good string that has the attributes of a fair durability and incredible repulsion/smashing power. Can anyone suggest a brand and type even if its not Yonex???
Thought I'd let people watching this know that I've played with this racket and feather shuttles. It's a good performer however stringing it at much higher tension of around 27 to 30 lbs would make this racket invincible :D
Well that's my opinion anyway. Im thinking of changing the string to the BG69 or 68. Could anyone give any comments on experience with these strings? Im a power player and smash a lot if that helps at all...
Nice rackets i have the Yonex ArcSaber10, Nanospeed 9000X, Nanospeed 8000, Nanospeed 7000, Nanospeed 7700 and ArcSaber7, Later this week am getting the Nanospeed 9900 But am a sponsored player so its a bit easier to get these rackets.

Hi Everyone,
I'm just making a small announcement that I'm selling my Genuine Yonex Arcsaber 10 racquet on ebay.
Only reason is that the racquet I'm feeling is not right for my technique of play.
My ID on ebay is Parmarv3 and I have proof of purchase from the authorised Yonex dealer if needed.
Thanks!

having both of the personaly i preffer the acrsaber for doubles since it is better at smashing
the nanospeed is better imo at singles as it gives more control over the shuttle.
the next purchas will be the 9900 nanospeed. after trying it out it preforms well in all aspct of the game

Hey,
Wondering which racket is better, the Arcsaber 10 or the Nanospeed 9000?
murderkid200 2 years ago
Hey - Well they are both for different types of players. The Arcsaber 10 has a stiff frame so it's more suited to advanced players.
I admit myself that I found it difficult to play with initially, but once you get used to it, it's excellent.
The Nanospeed 9000 has a flexible frame which is easier to play with. Smashes are great with it and it's very light.
I personally choose the Arcsaber 10 having played with both - Some girls couldn't play competively with it at all! : )
kishno 2 years ago
Neither the Nanospeed 9000S or Nanospeed 9000X are flexible. They are both quite stiff, I've tried the S version and the X version is actually stiffer than the S version

Thanks in advance!

Cheers people - Glad you like the vid!

Hey thanks for the comments - I've not taken a video of it in action however I have played with it a couple of times and I got to say it's amazing.
I had to alter my play a little (having come from an aluminium racket) but i'm sure you'll love it after some practise. Definitely is worth it!
