That way, on the off chance she is losing, she can still use that to her advantage by trying to entice him. She could either do that, or blackmail him.

@Horticultural1 It's not just her, even Vergil found that hard to believe at first, and he went up against someone who could create optical illusions, another person who could transform things into anything he wanted and can only be effected by the weaknesses he gave them, and a kid who could conjure up a freakin snow storm. Hell, even richie didn't believe that replay could make copies of himself and other people at first. what's wrong with these people?

Wait, really? Richie was gay in the comics? I would've never guessed. Not making fun of gay people, being gay is tottally normal, but think about. A tottally non-stereotypical gay guy who's platonically best friends with a straight guy. How often do you see that on TV (the female equivilent is even rarer)? This show is even more awesome then I thought.

@sonicspindash31 uuuuuuummmmm........ actually in the comics I think Richie was gay. It wasn't meant to be something negative. This was never implemented in the show because of the controversy that would result. I think he does a pretty good job of representing a minority group that's rarely depicted in comics.

XD If that's not canonical evidence of Richie having a crush on Virgil, I don't know what is. Though you could argue that he's at the forefront of his thoughts because of how he was trying to get Virgil's attention before she read his mind. Regardless, those two have an awesome friendship. Richie's mind just makes me laugh and go "aw, cute!"
