  • @frenchytouch Hi, I was wondering what kind of strings you have on your casino, roundwound or flatwound? I'm trying to decide which ones I want. thanks.

  • I've Got A Feeling!

  • Pappahobo is spot on. The rhythm is as important as anything in this tune!

  • I'm on Abbey Roads studio roof, nice one Julien. ( In the words of John Lennon as they left the Abbey Road Studio roof) I'd just like to say thank you on behalf of the group and I and I hope we passed the audition....

  • @cbf1000 more precisely "on behalf of the group and myself.." thanks ;)

  • Très bon.

  • Awesome guitar work!

I can't believe John played lead on this.

  • @jx14aby John did play lead! Check out the "Get Back" video here on YouTube

  • @CluvVenny

I know. In Geoff Emerick's book "Here, There and Everywhere", he talks about the difficulty they had to practice the leads so they could do them live. On the Get Back video, you can see John playing it. I never realized how good a guitar player he was.

  • @jx14aby All three guitarists of The Beatles were very competant guitar players. For example on their last album Abbey Road, the three of them share playing lead on the song "The End" The last song of the medley which made up pretty much of side two.

  • @CluvVenny

I just learned that a few months ago and the song is even better understanding what was happening..

  • thanks for posting the two views Julien!

  • @fredthejunkman you're welcome!

  • Nice. George's work is almost the best of the song, isn't it?

  • @Pappahobo Yes,george's work is as important as john's lead stuff...that's his telecaster rythm that makes the song so "groovy"!!! many guitar players don't pay attention enough to george's part, which is genuine,i think both guitars are clear.

  • Great work ! :)

  • @jcurnes thanks!!
