I played AAA, then jr B and now I play mens sr A...it is a league for guy's 21 and over...there are a couple of ex-NHL guy's playing, they are in their late 30's and they can really wheel...they give you perspective on what it takes to make it.
In the summer I play with AHL and ECHL guy's...they are incredible players and they won't even get a sniff of the NHL.
back when I was a kid maybe...mainly Michigan and Minnesota teams...they were pretty good teams...high school teams from Minnesota were real good....AAA teams from Toronto and Montreal kicked serious ass...they all had several players play jr A and even pro.
