drivers must know bacis physics laws such as cenrefugal forces. Car on ice goes that way where it's weight central point takes it. Rear wheels like boat stearing gives you push a little when you need to stabilize car direction. front wheels like skids does not play to much role. If you know right timings to play with accelerator then you have more chance to avoid crash. That what i know i can feel car on ice...

I should clarify that this is black ice. You can't avoid skidding no matter what you do..pump the brakes, shift to neutral, pray to Allah...you're going to skid and these guys did a fairly decent job of recovering away from the other cars. I've seen dozens of cars here skidding sideways, and these guys were pretty much fucked. They did nothing wrong but they were done for...they didn't crash only because they got lucky.
