This was an epic game. I'm glad both teams eventually got a superbowl. This play may as well have saved the game. There weren't many defenders apart from Pierce in position to make the play on Jackson.

Thanks so much for posting...i thought this play was lost amongst so many great moments in the Giants run that year. This play however was HUGE, if they had made that 1st down or scored on that 3rd down play, it would have been a momentum changer...AP you will always be a Giant in our hearts, thanks for playing like a champion during your time with us! no one really ever mentioned this on any DVDs or any of the stories. I never understood why people didnt see this as such an important play. it wasnt the tyree catch or eli tackle breaker but AT LEAST MENTION IT.
