  • Heard them at Hammerjacks, the Sandbar and Merriweather Post Pavillion. Partied with John P., knew all their bass lines and played CTS in band Crossroads. We need the studio cut of MIND BABY up on YOUTube, the basement benefit acoustic version is great but you talk about stereo separation (headphones comment). It's tighter than tight ;0)

  • The most amazing way to listen to this song is with headphones. As a matter of fact when their first album came out in 75 it was sent out to radio stations with a set of headphones to listen to it with. The whole first album is a revelation on original album with the headphones they clearly produced the thing with that in mind and it only truly comes to like in that format.

  • Bury me with this tune in my pocket.

  • @UTubist512 Dude! very well put!! Blaring out of the speakers of your headphones!

  • @0marigolds Yes you are right, not always what they like most, is music ..

    Они Супер!

  • Thanks for this. I never heard this band before, but over the past few weeks delved into the band (and the recent album "Machine") and I think its fair to say they've changed over the years. I like both the new and the old. Broader range than Steely Dan, I'd say. Sort of like the difference between Yes and StarCastle.

  • @MulattaOblongatta the lineup changes of CTS demonstrate collective talent from all the members. Thanks for mentioning the Rolling Stone comparison to Steely Dan, in intelligent lyrical obscurity, they relate, but sound, no. In technical execution, I'd compare them on a level of King Crimson. Unfortunately, they are not well known, like StarCastle (who remind me of Kansas/Styx). Glad to know through YT people can discover CTS. Thank you ;.)

  • This song jams. Never heard of this band before. Thanks for enlightening me,Jo.

  • @cremesupreme serious jam, always amazed me CTS wasn't HUGE everywhere, very tight all around ;.)

  • @0marigolds I know.unfortunatly CTS was on a label that wasn't prepared/didn't put in the nessesary effort to promote and advertise..they REALLY dropped the ball..by 1980's White Music, CTS had about 9-10 songs from their catalog that could be heard at any time on the rock radio stations here in Baltimore...You just figuerd they were big everywhere Japan?...of coarse! MAN could they play! Just a sonic wave right over you...as good and tight as any anybody out there...They still play & KICKASS

  • @knaturefree try to remain true, but understand completely original is a paradox, thank you so much ;.)

  • @mancmuso1 thanks and I tried to update the notes, you always ask the coolest questions about my visual madness, and because I know what the clock face says, forgot to add it in the notes. peace ;.)

  • First, let me say you did some wonderful editing in this video. Second, I've been on a guitar trip as of late, and the riffs are hot in this song.

  • @pboogie1023 humbled as always by your kind words. When I've been fortunate to get new audio equipment CTS debut is one of three benchmark LPs I will listen to first as quality control - so tight all around. thanks ;.)

  • Man, this was just an awesome production. It almost felt like I was watching a celebration of Baltimore's finest views and landmarks. Having been there several times with fond memories, this video especially clicked with me.

  • @FreewayBrent the ingress to B'more from 295 from the welcome sign to the first sight of the skyline is one of my all time favorite stretches of road, just such a happy feeling and if the Hon is on the welcome sign, even better. thanks tons ;.)
