there is something about the first episode,when he got hit by a truck..some say this episode was shown only once in Japan..

@animeluverr2 so actualy,u can't find any of final episode,there is two alternative final episodes,the first one:the no legs tsubasa,that generated much controversy because it destroyed the childhood hero of who saw this.people demanded one more happiest final episode,i think this one is much known by people,and i guess u will not able to find any of these..

I'm a huge football fan and for that reason I can't stand football anime! I mean boy do they overexergerate crap. I spend half the time rolling my eyes and scoffing than actually enjoying it. I almost wish they would base it on reality. I feel like they're under estimating football which is absolutely unacceptable.

captain tsubasa road to 2002 only have 52 episodes in all that aired, if you want to watch the rest you have to search for the older version of this story. it have up to 128 episode if i'm not mistaken.

the difference between this film and whistle is that in this film the main character : Tsubasa, is already God damn good from the beginning,but in whistle (i forgot the name of the main character), he was a looser at first,but by heavy training he becomes better.just like Hanamichi's slamdunk in basketball
