Norway has some butt ugly people and I've seen them myself, but they're the minority, one time a guy my teacher knew had problems finding hot girls in London which is said to have the best genes on the british isles but it still wasn't that good, the magazine gave it something like 4/10, a small city in my country with some thousand people reeks of hotties.
I agree with the people with the highest rated comments, people from the UK, Ireland and Australia shouldn't judge people from how they look because they have some of the worst genes (I'm not including NZ because the people there are people who mostly traveled freely from the british isles and most likely have better genes than the prisoners from isles who were sent to Australia because prisoners in general have shitgenes).

He was saying it was a shame that only a few competitions (like this one) give someone so ugly a chance to sing; and it turns out that the greatest voices come from those so ugly. We are all beautiful in our own way, and physical beauty is the weakest of all; Kurt is a truly, powerfully beautiful person. Simon, although I understand why you would say what you did (being fact that the recording industry is mostly interested in selling music, and not talent), to be able to say that to another human being (especially on TV) is just plain wrong.
The guy has one of the best voices in the world and if people would concentrate on that (rather than looks), the world would begin to be a better place.

It annoyed me that people can be so vain as to comment on peoples LOOKS, in a situation where they are looking for a new IDOL (I know a lot of people put "looks" as a major part of the world idol, and everything that goes with it- but in my opinion; it should be more about talent, and the kind of person the person in question is- if they would be able to become a good role model for young people).
