So what's happened to the 2009 cars shown in this video? It's clear that they were used for demonstration purposes whilst the game was in development, but it seems a shame to scrap them as they all look game quality. They should definitely implement them as an unlock or time trial cars, cos I want to use a Brawn damnit!

So you've decided NOT to include a safety car.Not exciting enough?? This SHOULD have been implemented with the option for the gamer to turn safety car off should he/she decide.

2nd, with the safety car out, that changes so much in a race, perhaps youve formed a good lead now to find youre back under pressure, your back in the thick of racing in the middle of the pack(which may to your advantage), needing to keep tyre temperature up,being sharp on re-start,that not exciting enough Codemasters??

I just wish people would stop mentioning GRID in the same sentence as F1. They should and hopefully be completely totally different games. There is NOTHING in GRID that should be fit to make it into a 2010 F1 game. GRID is arcade, F1 is and should be Sim. Say no more.

This is looking Sweeeet, This is also the game I been waitin for about 2 years. But Please Codies the game is looking mighty fine so dont ruin it turning it into an arcade. F1 is ment for a sim so hope you stick to your guns and give us just that. Carnt Wait Keep up the great work guys.

I'll admit that I don't know much about F1 racing, we don't get to see a lot of it in the US. But I liked Grid and Dirt. So anything they do will be aces with me.

the game WILL feature the full 2010 grid and all the tracks including the new KOREA circuit! will NOT feature a safty car

Codemasters have said so on their Forum. It was too difficult to implement and thought it was what gamers wanted, although pretty much no 1 on the list of wants was realistic gameplay which does include a safety car. Plus they said it will only be online multiplayer not split screen which is a mighty shame I think! However looks to be a promising game.

Ah, I have a PS3 and wanted to play against my family and would rather have split screen than buy another Ps3 and have on a separate TV.

@FUNKEY999 i know its expensive but trust me you rather want too have the ps3 version then playing splitscreen f1 2009 on the wii trust me on this one!

besides you can connect a ps3 also to a pc monitor or lcd one if you have a second ps3 at hand since the price dropped besides the experience is much more realistic then on the wii!!

Looks pretty good, I hope the damage is actually better than GRID and Dirt 2 - I hope the carbon fibre parts shatter realistically!

Please don't go overboard with post-processing e.g bloom rendering and high dynamic range - they were awful in GRID!
