  • I enjoyed seeing this video on Tim Tebow winning the 2007 Heisman Trophy. He is a very special young man and not because he's one of the greatest college football players of all time. It's because of the person he is and that he lives life to help others. Tim Tebow could have won the 2008 Heisman Trophy as well. He ended up with the most first place votes but finished third in the voting behind Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy who also had great seasons. The voting process confused me abit.

  • i think he should of won in 08 a great leader. the way he was in 08 he seemed to play better even though he's stat were down

  • great guy...hope he has a great career in the nfl

  • tim always seems to have alot of fun in what ever he likes to do. thats what makes him who he is, good job tim

  • Well, we really were not so much disappointed in the choice of last night's winner, as certainly Sam Bradford has had a great year. I am biased towards Tim, because of his character..but it sure did seem weird looking at 309 first place votes, placing third behind 300 first place votes..Not very impressed with the voting procedure.

  • Well Tim's injury probably made him slip a little but being a previous winner I'm sure some voters comparred this season to two years ago and felt that he didn't do aswell. But hey, at least he won one. My guy, Colt didn't win one :(

  • Colt way deserved that more than Ingram.

    Way more.

  • OMG I LOVE THIS GUY!

  • you can tell he was nervous repeating that he loved to be a Gator...but i didn't care

    GOoooo GATORS

  • I like when Tim say "And when we get back to

Florida, we're gonna have fun !!"

Fun, for Tim is hopping up and down, and whooping and hollering for the Gators..it is his life's dream, beyond being a Christian.

He is a testament to following Jesus Christ.

  • man i love this vid

  • thank GOD for a family like this GOD is first in everything keep moving on tebow family well done mr tebow well done GOD is saying well done

  • hes amazing but dennis would have won sorry but without injury dixon was leading nation. By the way dixon is a much better rusher than tebow much quicker faster and smarter. He won most outstanding student athlete in pac 10. check his grades one of smartest students at oregon. His mother died and he had thought about neither playing pro football or baseball. Hes not in it for the money he just loves the game

  • well I am not so hung up on some guy I've never heard of from the 'Ducks', that I would go 'check his grades'. Tim Won the Heisman. He is

Christian, and he is very happy with it..

  • Oregon plays in a crappy conference, so how do you compare stats, you just can't do it. Dixon was a good player but lets not get crazy. He played for Oregon for god sakes.

  • tim tebow is one of the greatest College QBs ive seen in a while he diserved this award

  • Tebow really does seem to be a Christian; his fruit is Christian.

I REALLY didn't like his brother's trying to build him up as he did. That was the act of trying to glorify an individual and not God, who GAVE him the ability.

Tebow needs to learn/be reminded of the message of the cross (faith SOLELY in Christ and Him crucified--for salvation AND sanctification). His reference to "trying" will not work, as no human has the capability to succeed in trying to live for God. We do so by faith.

  • Not very objective are you..Anyone who studies the scripture with a open heart would argue otherwise. You sort of started out ok, but quickly went on to attack Tim, perhaps you should heed your own words- as in let he has no sin- I am reminded of the old saying "Pray for potatoes, but bring your hoe" Many waste their gifts, as you seem to be doing, criticizing others. Tim spent his summer break on missions..What did you do ? I don't claim any special insight into God's word as you do.

  • This is a video about how a human being who has an awesome work ethic broke rushing and passing records to receive a coveted award voted for him by a group of peers in the sport of football. I hope you recall your insistence of 'splitting hairs' on the definition of 'trying' when YOUR Savior asks you about bearing false witness, my friend.

Regards. Don't bother replying with any more snide commentary, or I'll sic my Master's prepared theology student daughter on you.

  • if u listen to the whole thing his first priority was hif "faith in God" dont be hater cmon.... and in thanking all his teamates is proving he is a humble guy and not taking all the credit, and he did say that he counlnt do anything with out christ!!!!!11

  • To those of you who don't know what Tebow did, records broke, etc...no QB in the history of the NCAA had run for 20 and thrown for 20 TD passes. I think his total for O7 was 51 touchdowns either by air or ground with 3,790 yards offense. Colt doesn't come close by comparison. Thanks for the inquiry. Hope to see everyone at the 2008 awards!

  • What a great kid. Respect him for his unwaivering(sp?) faith in God. Wish him the best in the seasons to come.

  • Colt Brennon should've won the Heisman. He killed Tebow statistically the last two years.

  • Would you care to compare those records ?

  • Tim Tebow: 125.2 QB rating, 5008 total yards, 68 total TDs, 66.8% of passes completed

Colt Brennan: 118.4 QB rating, 10285 total yards, 109 total TDs, 71.6% of passes completed

Brennan kills Tebow statistically. He doubles his yardage and TD total. Tebow beats him in QB rating, but Brennan wins in pass completion percentage.

  • I don't want to sound rude but what records did Tebow set I didn't follow him as closely as Brennan

  • I'm not sure what records Tebow broke, but there's no doubt he had a phenomenal year. I just think he was rather fortunate that both Darren McFadden and Dennis Dixon were injured throughout the year. If McFadden stayed healthy, we might not even be talking about Tebow right now. Brennan had two unbelievable years also. I think he was very unfortunate not to win the Heisman. He blew everyone's numbers away statistically.

  • You know, I have approved all your comments, and thanks for viewing. Regardless of all the rhetoric, Tim Tebow was and is the Heisman Trophy Winner, and as far as playing injured or whatever, Tim played his final game this year with a broken hand, and he played his High School state championship, ran the final winning score on a broken leg..Sorry to hear about the other injured players who didn't win the Heisman Trophy. The Gators are rated #5, going in to this season, we play Hawaii in 23 days.

  • I have nothing against Tebow. As I said earlier, I think he had a great year. I'm just showing the facts to all the biased Gator fans. I'm not trying to bash Tebow, I'm just showing the other side of the argument. Last year's Heisman was one of the most heavily debated in history and some here are just acting as if Tebow was untouchable. In real truth, Tebow's stats weren't the best in the country. Many players last year deserved the Heisman (Brennan, Dixon, McFadden), but only Tebow won it.

  • "all the biased" Gator fans don't count. What counted for this Heisman Trophy was the FACT that Tim Tebow was voted the winner, by an OVERWHELMING majority, and you should check your own bias regarding actual performance. Tim was the first ever player to rush and pass over 20 tds- passed for over 25. Many players didn't deserve the Heisman, they only have one. Tim Tebow won and beat the other players, THEY did not win, GET OVER IT !!!!!Brennan, Dixon, and Dmac were LOSERS !! LOSERS..GET IT ??

  • I'm surprised you can't have an intellectual argument about the Heisman. You asked me to show facts and I did. Also, Tebow didn't win by an "OVERWHELMING" majority, he won by a mere 200 points. Look up your facts before you spew out your biased opinions. Also, how is Tebow a winner? He hasn't won anything by himself. He won as a backup, that's it. Your argument holds no weight here. I already said he had a great year, but saying he was an outright winner is false. The Heisman voting shows that.

  • I purposefully haven't tried to 'argue' with you, because form the very start, you have been baiting me for just such an event. I, like anyone can check records..splat figures and run my mouth, but I really cannot believe how ignorant you are for saying Tim wasn't the winner of the Heisman. As far as him being the backup, perhaps you don't realize the Heisman is awarded for one year to one player, he was backup during 2006...as if you didn't know. I am sry you wanted someone else.

  • i like Tebow alot but Dmac should have definately won the hiesman

  • Whoa there bball24rd, first ..how about a spell check thingy ?? Second, I'd like to hear what kind of backward logic you use to arrive at that

conclusion. Tebow literally doubled Dmac's effort. over 50 TD's..half of them rushing. Darren is a good player, no doubt my brother..but when one guy is better..Give him his due. Besides, it doesn't matter what we think, the Heisman went to Tim Tebow.

  • This just goes to show you that statistcs DO lie...or at least distort the truth. When you're in the position to have the ball EVERY play and your name is called every time you're three yards within the goal-line, you're going to get 22 Touchdowns especially in a system where a sophomore QB has to stick to a playbook and cant call any passing audibles. Michigan and Georgia exploited Tebow and he's a target this year

  • Well said, Tebow is good, but his statistics lie. Georgia and Michigan dismantled the Florida offense. We'll see the real Tebow this year after everyone has had a year to watch him. It should be very interesting to see how he plays.

  • First off I am an Auburn fan... But Tebow is my favorite player in college football right now and one of my favorite players ever. Everything about him says "Superman" from his play on the field to everything he does off the field. Anyone that hates on Tebow is obviously jealous of his talent and celebrity. He is by far the best player in college football and should win the heisman again. I think he will be a first round pick as well since Vince Young can get drafted third. WAR EAGLE!!!

  • GO GATORSSS

  • Michigan made Tebow their bitch.

  • uhh..Congrats on a good Michigan win, but you are wrong..Tim broke more records even during that game...

I notice you have the typical yankee nasty mouth. That's why I approved your childish, incorrect statement...and so folks could go and look at your channel and see what a disgusting yankee you are.

  • dumb yankee

  • I guess he's too ignorant to realize Tim played with a broken hand that game..and michigan barely beat us..It's actually kind of funny.

But you do understand Ohio was saying the same thing, both times we beat them in the championship. They are rude and crass- not too mention downright foul. Now I know you are going to marry a nice southern boy..right ??

  • duh

  • hes a great guy!

  • Tim Tebow thanked his strength coach...who is his strength coach again? Zeus?

  • and GO TIM!

  • thanks for leaving the comment option up! i too despise youtube pricks.

  • hey tim happy easter to you and your family, and the whole gator nation. and to all good people around the wrold. God bless!!!!

  • this is for Tim, you have been blessed, you are living proff that the American dream is alive and well! you can do anything if you put your heart into it. happy Easter to you and your family. and to the Gator nation!!

  • He has a cast on his hand during the Heisman acceptance ceremony, and it didn't click until just now... I was second row for the FSU/UF game, which was his last game before winning the heisman, and that is the game he hurt his hand during. Even though he hurt his hand bad enough to be in a cast, he circled the ENTIRE stadium shaking hands with fans after the game, including mine. It was a really cool moment.

  • He made a touchdown during his high school state

championship game (the winning TD) with a broken

tibia or fibula..(leg) and it was no fracture, the leg was broken. His coach said "Man Up !" and later was embarassed, because the x-ray showed a pretty nasty break. Tim LIKES football.

  • He really does, you can tell he loves it. He is so thrilled even after games that are really easy wins, like against UCF. I have enjoyed being at all the home games the past two seasons and getting to see him upclose, I'm psyched for next year. I mostly like that he is just such a nice guy, so friendly and humble and intelligent.

  • I can't wait..Orange and Blue on the 12th I think.

  • AW I love Tim Tebow! He's Such a great person to look up to! Its so cute how he repeated his speech. I cried when he won the Heisman! I think i was happier than he was! Go Gators!

  • Tebow rocks so does his family :)

  • tebow is the best. im a gator fan and am so proud to have tebow as a gator. timmy diserved this so much, and he gave an amazing speech. 4 get all u haters who dont appreciate him, cause tebows the Bom Diggity!!

  • tim tebows tears cure cancer too bad he's never cried

  • What a good example and testimony he is...our God is good, trully trust in him for everything and he will take care of you. Proverbs 3:5,6--Jeremiah 29:11

  • I looove tim tebow. Not only is he a great quarterback, he has great character and he gives credit where credit is due! he's the man.

  • It'd be great if Tebow could in the future be drafted to the Cowboys and replace fucking Romo.who just aint never gonna get it done

  • I approved your comment, obviously you aren't thrilled with Tony's 'performance'..I did this vid for Tim and his parents..sure wish you could

have used different verbage, though...Tim may not even subject himself to the NFL. If he doesn't, I wouldn't be surprised.

  • no i rather have him play for the jaguars

  • That might be something wouldn't it..??

I'd guess he'd probably prefer to play for a

Florida team, so he could be close to home. We'll see. I am just looking forward to this next season, I can't wait.

  • the jags have a good QB already, maybe hell go to the dolphins... lords knows they need help at QB... Cleo Lemon isnt getting it done lol

  • If I'd seen this before Jan 1 I would have had a harder time rooting against Florida, that's for sure.

  • he deserves it..

  • tebow is amazingg.. he is so grateful for everything he has done and acheived.. and so level headed!! All of you who put Tebow down are just jealous or retartedd..cuz hes awesome

  • go tebow!!

  • Tebow is lucky he didn't get rigged like Vince Young in 2005. Well I'm ok that Vince didn't win because it only fueled him to win the championship for Texas and make Reggie Bush look like a fool. He is a great clutch player, which he still is in the NFL, who went undefeated and blewout every single team he faced in 05. That seems like a real Heisman to me and ofcourse he is the 10th greatest NCAA player ever, which I thimk he is the best no question about it because he is INVINCEABLE.

  • As a bystander, not a Tebow fan, not a hater, He is highly highly highly over-rated, Its like Lloyd Carr (the coach that just beat him) and every announcer on Monday night football said "he is simply a SYSTEM quarterback....thats all

  • This vid is about a Heisman winner that's all..

If you think the Heisman trust is comprised of idiots who vote for highly highly over-rated QBs..ok. I guess 35 points just doesn't mean anything in the NCAA these days..

  • What makes him overrated...if you don't mind tell me what makes him a system qb...Colt Brennan is a system quarterback...Tebow played in all different kinds of offensive schemes in high school so get your facts straight before you bash a talented hardworking athlete

  • ya he only scored 51 touchdowns in one season. what did you have in your high school carrer? 5 tds tops (JV dosent count). 51 TDs in major college football yep he sure is overrated

  • Tim Tebow is the man. Hes an all around great player and hes only a sophomore.

    Keep it up.

  • reply to arkansasboi33 media...on the east coast... um not really.. maybe you mean WEST COAST... and Gainsville,Florida is not too far from Arkansas. so... that is sooo fucking irrelavent to the subject on hand.... so... yeah
  • Colt should've won. And to the person who put this video up, I read the "About This Video" and you are a pussy. Everyone deserves to be criticized except Michael Jordan. So saying should've won isn't a insult, that's what my opinion is, but don't protect Tebow.

  • You're just 14 years old, but I approved your comment so other people can read what a nasty mouthed little punk you are..If you'd like, I can arrange for my 14 year old daughter to meet with you and stomp your little punk 14 year old head in, since I would go to jail for it.

  • Michael Jordan is a piece of trash aids carrying, ungrateful Bball boy...and you're in love with him..Oh and if Colt Brennan was the one that SHOULD have won, then ALL the Heisman winners and coaches would have voted for him, but he is weak, can't run, and is a loser.

  • Im pretty sure Time Tebow taught Michael Jordan how to play ball. Thats how good he is

  • Tim Tebow wears Armanti Edwards pajamas.

  • tim tebow is one of those guys that makes me hate myself because hes good at everything

  • tim tebow was amazing but not as amazing as...

    DARREN MCFADDEN

tebow won because all the media is on the east coast

  • Tebow won because he rec'd the most votes..sry bout McFaddens luck..or lack of skill, I should say. Also the votes are from all corners of the globe, by Heisman winners and coaches..media has nothing to do with it.

  • Mcfadden is a joke lol wat a clown he is his hype is foolish

Percy harvin is a better runner than dmac

  • HE IS AMAZING NO MATTER WAT ANY1 THINKS

  • Hey, I was one of those good naturedly jeering Tim at LSU when he, also good naturedly, ran in front of tghe student section taunting us after scoring on us.

But although I'm a gung ho LSU fan I'm a Tim Tebow fan after seeing the character of the man. And I highly admire him for putting his faith first in his life.

BUT... I shall be pulling against him in the LSU/Florida game next season. Congratulations on the heisman win Tim. Even more Kudos for standing up for the Lord.

  • Good comment. Yes..there was a little rivalry going on there, sillietillie..The tshirt/cellphone thingy was a little out of line.

I will be rooting for LSU in their BCS game, actually I believe yall will cream Ohio. SEC, baby..!! Go Gators !

  • In the SEC we're our own worst enemy. Nobody gets out of the SEC unbloodied except rarely and that's in all sports. The SEC is a microcosm every year of what national college football was this year.

  • yes..sss... We had a lot of people gunning for us. Three teams tried to 'pick us apart' two succeeded. We actually had yall in the corner till the last 1:09. I remember it well. Good luck with the bucks. They are all hype.

  • amen, i like tebow, he's a good guy, even though im an LSU fan, lol

  • Haha, Faget dipped in fugly?

    That is so lame.

What are you two? I dont know who you think you are, talking about Tim Tebow like that. It just shows a sign of jealousy because whatever team is your favorite probably doesn't even have a winner up there. So try acting human before you start shit about a SOPHOMORE Heisman Trophy winner. kthanks.

  • I might not believe in god but I believe every babe deserve to live and the fact he is a miracle babe adds to this factor I my self dont belive in religion but i respect human life and animals even insects im just not into worshiping something that man made up through fake books bible/coran koran?bwritten by man ...go tebow!!!

  • he is my future husband just fyi

  • After Tebow torched us (South Carolina) for 7 TDs, I never imagined I'd be rooting for him come Heisman time. But hey, such a great role model, model citizen, and an inspiration to me and all other Christians.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • God save the SEC.

  • Mcfadden did not deserve it. Tebow had 5 more rushing touchdowns than Mcfadden on 110 fewer carries, and carried the second best completion rating in the NCAA. Heisamn is for the best all around player, and Tebow was the best.

  • I don't know.. If Tim wasn't playing this year, I would say DMC might deserve it. The way this worked is ALL of the Heisman winners, all the NCAA coaches, and several other 'notables' voted..and they picked Tebow. That settles it. All those DMC lovers should encourage DMC to stay in college, and try next year.

  • I need to thank my Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST

  • He did not deserve it over McFadden. Dmac got the Doak Walker twice, the walter camp, and is the #1 NFL draft pick. He got ripped for the second year in a row.

  • Dmac had a great year. He sure did. It is very difficult to place second in the Heisman runoff.

He has done that, twice. He isn't the first, either. That being said, Tim Tebow has achieved a 20/20 year, something thats never been done. He won.

  • na u cant say tebow didnt deserve it. Hes a sophmore and hes done things that nobody in heisman history has ever done before. Daarren Mcfadden was good but tebow was better of a player this year

  • As a Tennessee fan I wanted nothing more then to see Colt or D-MAC get it over him. As a Christian I'd say he deserves it.

  • This is the coolest football player in the history of the NCAA and the NFL. He is the most morally sincere and humble guy I have ever seen play the sport.

  • Great player.. Great Christian athlete

  • Great video!!!!! Tebow is just a great humble guy who wouldn't love him? Thank for posting it!!!!

  • You're welcome, Thank YOU !

  • This is the best of all of the TEBOW videos because it shoes the before and after, and interviews with the family about the difficulties they faced.

Thanks for posting and I am sending this video out to everyone!

  • Thank you for the kind words..

  • I love that his mom calls him Timmy :)

As a mom, that really hit home with me ... he may be the Heismann Trophy winner, but he is still Timmy. Awesome.

It's great to be a Florida Gator! Go Tebow!

  • My wife really liked that part to. In fact, I like it. Kids are so pressured to be big grown ups before they are ready, they cut themselves off from actually maturing. Tim is quite a remarkable class act.

  • He15man! What a great representation of the trophy, GatorNation, and his faith. Having Danny Wuerffel there was icing on the cake. Congrats, Timmy! You make all of us in GatorNation proud to wear the Orange and Blue. Go Gators!

  • Go Gators, and congratulations Tim.

  • what an honest kid. he really is great person i think the world would b alot better if more ppl in the world were just half as good as him

  • Such a deserving individual! The Gator Nation is so proud of Tim Tebow! Congratulations!!

  • Praise God he's saved!

  • GO GATORS!

Had no doubt in my mind that he was going to win it. It chokes me up when I see "superman" choked up haha.

  • yeah ditto. the kid is a force to be reckoned with, on and off the field. I bumped into him once on campus.. and let me tell you.. you run into tim tebow off guard, be prepared to just stand and stare and just be like.. "uhhh"

can we say heisman finalist next year? haha.. his competition is gone. either a senior or going to the NFL. tebow is not a man, hes a machine

  • im a michigan fan but tebow is going to KILL michigan in the capital bowl

  • GO TEBOW! GO GATORS!

  • Yes..He is an Outstanding individual !! Thanks

for the view and rating ??

  • there you go! i forgot about that :P
