how would you use it idf the whole pond is covered with algae? But there is lots of fish and turles it is a very big pond. i would need to use the 25 lb bucket but will it effect the fish ?
@tj13able to be honest I don't like to use this for pond wide cleaning, I know others may do so but I usually suggest using this for spot control only...it's better suited for that. First of all you may need to use so much of it on the algae that it's not cost effective and second, you need to be careful about killing algae off too quickly if it's really dense and covering the pond. When algae or any plant dies off quickly it will pull oxygen from the water and that's not good for fish.
