  • figures that asians would be able to do this (yes i know, im being a stereotipist)

but the fact is, i didn't see one NON-asian person over there competeing. and thats my defence. the rest of many of us are just lazy and and in some cases, just plain dumb. (stupid... for those dumb people who don't know what "dumb" means)

  • @Commendify nooooo. U have it alll wrong. The only reason there are asian people here is because this competition is in tokyo. There are many talented (if u meant us as is americans or europeans) people who can solve it faster than asians.

  • @Commendify

you are half right, there isnt non-asian people there because this was hosted in Tokyo so people aren't going to fly there lol for a tournament they arent sure they would win in...

there are some good eurpoeans at cubing too... but yeah, i think there are good cubers around the world. Just really depends where the tournament is held at...

  • @Commendify this competition is in tokyo of course they are all asian...*facepalm*

  • "i didn't see one NON-asian"

Maybe because it's the fucking JAPAN open.

  • Brillant. Pro.

  • Yu Nakajima was the fastest with 46.40, Keisuke Hiraya with 50.88 and Syuhei with 48.36.

  • and Yohei Oka 49.69 :D

  • i solve 3x3 in like 50 seconds =(

  • 01:05 "yata!"

  • Man, how do they do edge pairs so fast... takes me 3 min for the edge pairs and maybe about a 50 second reduced solve... Just timed myself and got a 4:30 solve... they would be done with the cube before I'm even done with my centers...

  • Practice, man. =]

You'll get used to seeing some patterns which willsomewhat help with the getting the center and edge pairs, etc.

  • um... you dont!!!

  • You're dumb

  • omg how do they do it so fast

  • 1:06 5x5x5 unofficial :O awesome.

  • SHIT!!! the speed is incredible...

    Same methods?

  • Everyone good uses reduction (centers, edges, 3x3x3)

  • there is one method for 4x4x4 only, I can´t remember it´s name now...

  • It's called the 3x3x3 reduction method.

  • There's more than 1...

  • I said there is one, but I know there´s more than just 1

  • nakajima's the fastest out of all the three

    go nakajima

  • damn.. all the times shown were all sub 1 minute

  • lmao!! a 50 sec time and 3 other sub50s aside each other lolzz

  • wooohhh... all the 4x4 solves were great/./

  • that was crazy i can only do it in 1:50

  • I think the guy who sits beside Keisuke is Syuhei

  • lol the guy next to him was celebrating a 48.36 second solve. Why bother entering if you've got no hope of coming close to winning, expecially in Japan

  • lol thsi makes asain ppl look stero typical

    azn pride ^_^ lol

  • those things are so hard....lol

  • holy balls

  • What the hell...

They have a talent, so? STFU

  • bill gates once said you should respect nerds be cause you'll probably work for one

  • nerds because they can use their brains?? nerd doesn't exist this word was invented by ignorant people. they're just smart people looking for some fun. try to solve a cube :) you'll get fun some weeks, months and even years

  • EVEN CENTURY ASSHOLES

  • hahah if you live more than 100 years

  • wow, that was nice :D. i didn't even know people defended guys who liked rubik cubes :P

are we considered nerds because we want to have brain and intelectual challenges? i say we aren't.

  • what?

  • one minute six seconds so solve a 5x5, i think

  • It's so cool to see the 3 winners doing a solve right next to each other!! (even though the camera didn't catch all three of them at once).

  • after he finishes, the guy to the right is like, "im the man"

  • It's Syuhei! Japan have awesome 4x4x4 cubers.

  • do u hav the 41 wr footage?

  • 私は、残念4x4の言うことを意味する。

  • What does Yattyatta mean?

    Yattyatta何を意味するのでしょうか?

    3-3のためのあなたの平均は50.378と同じように素晴らしかったです!

    私はGoogleの翻訳を使用している。 =)

  • lol Syuhei whispers "yatta" to himself

  • Lol that must be the solve where he did 2 PLLs (would've beaten Nakajima's solve). What does "Yatta" mean? Like "dang it"...or "ahhh"?

  • i think "yatta" means "alright" i've heard it in Naruto plenty of times lol.

  • it means "I did it"

  • It's not "Yatta". He said "Yattyatta".

  • O_O 1:06?!!!!! oh....my.......god....haha a bit of syuhei's solve aswell :P whos the third person who got the 49.69?

  • Yohei Oka.

  • I think you mean 46.40 and it was Yu Nakajima's time, I think. You can check it on the link in the description box.

  • keisuke did good! that sucks that he had two 5x5 pops for the final round :(

  • wow....nice 46 dude.....everyone did good that solve :)

  • Crazy, WHAT? 5X5 UNOFFICIAL 1:06? ARE YOU SERIOUS.

  • Yeah, I'm serious :)

  • does that mean sub 1 5x5 is possible in the future?

  • It is possible

  • @nakaji1084 u r crazzy

  • @nakaji1084 u r crazyyy, do u put and lube of some kind so make it smoother? or are japanese cubes bought like that, mine always get stuck

  • @exterminata5 no im in japan and bought japanese speedcubing kit and it was fast but when i put lube it turns faster. no cubes out of box is smooth
