@asdfADRiAN sorry to disagree. But it is the other way around. What's in the Box was uploaded 13 march 2009 and The Gift 7 april 2010. So it is The Gift that is not all that original:) Both are awesome though!

@NilesDyson Yeah I know. I never said that The Gift copied off of this im just saying that the plot is just utterly too general. It fits games like Half Life and Fallout 3. Any apocalyptic sort of setting with a mysterious box and mysterious events. Though Im sure its something to do with a cure involved.

@gustcurcio It does actually. Check out this interview,. Tim Smit (The man who created this test film) states he really liekd the sounds. He's probably just an avid Half Life fan who found inspiration in the video games.

@FullOfDerpMoments you can get software liek this pretty easily. but it takes lots of skills and planning to make it. You need to make some test films to know how to make good and fluent scenes, a story (script) based on your experience. In the Script you also must have the plans which scenes look like what and how to edit them afterwards to make them look the style you want them too and so on. It is a lot of detail work you can only do after lots of trying out and getting feedback

@FullOfDerpMoments well I used the original after effects, included in the creative suite cs5. It is free for 30 days (trial) I think. Officially from Adobe. I had some articles about free or cheap videocuttingsoftware (and editing effects etc) in the "c't" magazine (a very good but a bit techy german magazine). I have to look the articles up, meanwhile you could try to search google for "free video effects software" or something like that. Although most progs are sure expensive(Maya).

I'm looking for one POV movie. I watched it about 6 years ago, so i don't remember much. I think it began like some family in the car going on a trip, and a boy was filming, when suddenly a bunch of black guys jumps out and starts to rob them. So they took the camera and continued recording. The camera has been passed from hand to hand, i think to show all bad things going around in the ghetto. And the movie itself was probably made for children mostly.
