for the double bass its good to practice with anlkle weights. on.. cuz then when you take em off after awhile... you will have alot more endurance with your legs and you wont get tired out so quickly

yeah that works for some people, but it screws your knees up and without knees there is no double bass haha. so i wouldnt recommend this. ive looked into it :p.
