I've made chlorophyll solution pots FLOAT in mid air, made ones that can actually be picked up and moved with telekenesis, had corpses merge into walls and pretend to hump one another, a turret that spews an endless jet of flames WHENEVER I TELL IT TO, and a houdini that doesn't even go anywhere when it teleports. Sorry, had to share it...

When I play Bioshock in absolute darkness on my 22" WideScreen LCD at 1920X1200 (much higher res than 1080P) in DX10- i acually got a lil dizzy on the first scene when your swimming through the water to the Tower. Its that immersive, and with a Big Screen LCD which takes up most of your field of vision, it REALLY feels like your looking out into the environment. Sounds crazy but play on one of your buddies gaming comps with atleast a 19" WideScreen LCD at nite and youll see what i mean.

i did the same with my flat screen just coppled the full hd 38" with my pc (2x 260 gtx sli) and just started play from the moment where u killd that cohan (the muppet who orders u to kill e.g. the guy in the video) i just played to moment when i come to the energy reserving point shortly before andrew ryan and it was amazing even the fight with a big daddy...i was happy that he couldnt hit me trough the screen but it felt kile :D

Thats why i PREFER the raw power of the PC- the sharper/crisper/smoother graphics really do make a difference in immersion, and when you fire up any of these modern day FPS at nite on a large Widescreen Lcd- everything truly comes at you. Lol olive1913, im glad someone knows what im talking about. The new games are becoming so life like that you truly can get lost in amazement at some of these gaming environments.

actually starvedsanity, games like halo2 and shadowrun require a gold account to play. and gears of war will require a gold account to talk and to play ranked. while i wish xbox live was free i pay for it and id gladly do it year after year i think xbox live is way worth it.

gates is taking Live to pc.. so every game that plays against it's xbox counterpart is going to require you to have a Live account. so in essence PC gamers will have to pay for their online play too, not just their online, which already costs money.  that's why microsoft is releasing their xbox games for pc, to charge you to play it. where in the hell does that make sense? in what world do you have to pay to play what you already bought? the microsoft world.
