I've been playing some amazing PS2 single player games over the past week, and I've been having SO much more fun than playing any of my 360 games. I thought it was just nostalgia glasses, but I honestly think games were just...better back then. I dunno. Maybe it's because they KNEW they couldn't fall back on an online component. They knew the single player had to blow people away. Bad single player? No sales. Main reason I enjoy single player only games even on the 360.

Actually, I've used those online plenty of times. You can BS the name and address, but all you need is the number, expiration date, and the code.

Hm. I never played THPS3, but I gotta say, THAW was amazing to me. Maybe because I actually recognized some of the places from living in L.A.

As for games, AC: R was amazing, even with the somewhat broken multiplayer.

I was prepared to use real information, too. :D I'll always have a soft spot for THPS3. I grew up with the first one on the PSX, skipped the second one, and played the third one to death. Absolutely amazing. Also, as far as AC: R, I'm DOOONE with broken multiplayer. I haven't played CoD in over a week now, and I'm just not interested in games like that anymore.
