I make tracks from scratch with no samples all day but when you want that proper orchestral feel or jazz sometimes its nice to sample a main melody n add to it.

Theres talent in both cause most cats wouldnt of thought to ever make some of the shit i have.

Variation is what makes the talent.

Actually the interface is very similar. The only reason Reason may be a little trickier is because you can do so much more with it. You should try it.

I started on FL and got annoyed constantly because of the (in my opinion) crappy interface and shitty sounds (didn't know much about plug-ins then) I used it for some time but eventually stopped for a bit. I began making music again when I came across Reason. I was hooked instantly and still use it every day.

(Actually the same day I 'got' FL I downloaded the Reason demo, opened it and was shocked by all the nob's and buttons which is why I didn't start off with it)

Anyway, try it. It's really great :)
