  • This looks fun, I might just try it out...

  • you can get the rules for BFG online

  • i really enjoyed the written commentary, it really captured the feel of what would have been said in that battle. fun to watch... thanks for posting

  • 0:26 haha. i have that exact same tape measure

  • Nice small game.

  • Rockin' cool report

  • Kul vid, synd at det er så lite marked for Warhammer I Norge generellt sett. Bare en plass igjen i Trondheim som selger Warhammer stæsj. Kan jo alltids bestille fra nettet men det er jo ikke helt det samme. Morsom kamp.

  • I haven't played BFG since 2003 I think...still have my Imperial fleet as well. I also had a home made Tyranid fleet as well...but sold that. Awesome stuff...

Hmm...perhaps another fleet to compliment my Imperial's...hmmm... :)

  • @dougeagle May I suggest a Tau or Eldar fleet?

  • ? The SKY? is filled with orcs?

  • lol wicked sound track!

    PIE YEA? amazin movie!

  • GG, any Necro or Tyranid matches?

  • haha, Jag är svensk, så jag kunde förstå slutet

  • Looks so complicated to play x-x

  • What's a recommended table size for 1500pt games?

  • @s4jt Depends on the game however most games are played on a six by four foot table top.

  • @s4jt

    1*1 m or 1,2*1,2 is big enough.

you can always go bigger, ok - but then you'd surely have problems with the game time ^^

  • I wish I could afford to play this. Don't think anyone in the area plays this stuff anyway...

Great job on the vid with the broadcasts and everything.

  • what would be really awesome is if i had someone to do an interplanetary campaine with, so it would go from apocalypse to bfg.

  • games workshop should make a videogame of battlefield gothic, something like homeworlds, that game was awesome

  • very entertaining!!!

Lots of 5s and 6s from the order player haha

  • would just like to say, i think has to be one of the more entertaining battle reports, you actually told a story while showing the battle. good job.

  • Makes me want to play this game xD

  • You get to paint these right?

  • Yes, you do.

  • also where did you get those 3d blast markers?

  • The explosions are from the Epic 40.000 set, which is no longer available from Games Workshop.

  • NOOOOOOO!

    and the soundtrack?

  • The music in the video is from the soundtrack from the movie Π (Pi), by Clint Mansell. The song is called 2ΠR.

  • @jonaslep Pi was an effed up movie. we watched it in goemetry class

  • @theclash24 You could make some of those without much effort. Just print out the image on them, or one like it you like too, then cut out some bristleboard or metal or whatever you want it to be made of, and glue them on.

  • you should do another BFG report man

  • They should make a pc game based on this!

  • Yes!! I think from the PoV of a ship commander. Start at frigate eventually get battleship.

  • yeah or something Homeworld like.

  • I started a fleet of my own a while back just to try it out since I'm a big 40k fan. I didn't like it, it was not the same intensity of warhammer 40k and Usually took quite a long time for each game.

  • sad hardly anyone ever plays this anymore... it was a great addition to the 40k universe!

  • nice! hvor spiller dere?

  • I videoen spiller vi hjemme, men til vanlig spiller vi på Oslo Miniatyrspillklubb. Universitetsgata 20 i Oslo sentrum. Sjekk 2d6 punktum no for mer informasjon.

  • where did you get that mat?

  • I've added a link to the store selling it in the video description.

  • i woulkd love to start this, but i have no idea if my money is worth what i want to buy from this range

  • hello im a 40k fan from ireland and i bought the bfg core rule book and the armada rule book so i could use bfg in a 40k campaign(using low orbit ships for bombardment etc). im looking to make a big order to g.w. in the next few days for my very own fleet. i plan to get 6 kroozers (3 of each type) 6 of all the ork escorts (brute ram ships etc) and maybe 2 or 3 battleships/battle kroozers. do you think i need to get maybe less of some ships and more of others. i would be greatfull for any advice

  • Seriously! One of the best Warhammer battle reports on YouTube. Time to dig up my Space Marine fleet!

  • its because they learn from observation. if the the humans can fly in that we should steal it. they also probably learn from their mistakes after the first 5 ships crashed lol

  • i dont really get how the orks hav really primitive technology, yet they hav accomplished space travel

  • Orks were genetically engineered by the (now extinct) Brain Boyz to be muscular, aggressive, and not too bright.

Their technology is maintained by a caste of Oddboyz (Mekboyz, Painboyz, etc) who have genetic dispositions to do well at such tasks.

Indeed, the Brain Boyz were able to encode information on how to build even spacecraft into the genetic strands of Orks

  • because orks are actaully psychic. (SERIOUSLY) If the believe something will work, it will work. For example, rockets painted yellow create bigger explosions because orks simply belive they will. If you strap a gun to a trukk, the truck will work no matter what, because the orks think it will. Read the fluff.

  • Orc ships are generally more of a threat to themselves than others. Held together with duct-tape.

  • battlefleet gothic was and still is my favorite game made by games workshop. sad it isnt supported or wwas never really given the attention it deserved as it would have been a huge hit.

  • BTW great video

  • how come no one plays Battle fleet Gothic?

  • looks cool, but takes forever

  • it's so sad no one plays Battlefleet gothic anymore... it was so much fun...

  • vart skafade ni dom sprängningarna??

  • The explosions are from the Epic 40.000 set no longer available from Games Workshop.

  • hej granne!! SVERIGE här bra match!!

  • Comment removed

  • looked like a fun battle, i have a 40k ork army and have always wanted to collect an ork fleet for bfg but sadly i dont know anyone who plays it in my area.

  • We dont realy play this at our club.... it is sad becuase i love all games in any form and this looks fun... if i shall start to play i shall play a orc list with one hulk and the rest escorts and roks;)

  • I am starting this game do u know what i should buy?

  • You should get the starter set first. Games Workshop doesn' t have it for sale anymore, but you should be able to find it on eBay.

After you have the starter set, you should decide which race you would like to play. Then buy a small fleet to see if it really suits your tastes on the gaming board. About 500 points should do it, a couple of cruisers and some escorts.

  • Any advice on where to play this?

  • You guys welsh?

  • No, we are Norwegian.

  • all 'umanz iz week! 'Cept fer ol one eye Yarik, 'e knows how tuh fight!

  • Hey what's the name of the song in this video? I like it a lot :)

  • The music in the video is from the soundtrack from the movie Π (Pi), by Clint Mansell. The song is called 2ΠR.

  • Nice vid. I'm playing BFG at my club this weekend, so this was inspirational.

  • LOL "Help us!"

  • Neato!
