Is it true that hamster tanks can become very humidified (if that's a word LOL) and be unhealthy for your hamster? I'm saving up for dwarfs and am not sure what habitat to use.

So are robo hamsters good pets? Because people tell me that they are evil and they bite but I don't believe it :l so y does everyone love them? I would greatly be happy if anyone replied

My Piggy (Maisey) loves to watch my screen and stuff, its so cute becuz I watch horror movies alot (she hates them though D:) and she squeals when something pops up Lol! Its so adorable !! Then she'll run into my arm and snuggle.

Is it alot of work and money to have 3 guinea pigs and 2 hamsters? P.S. ~ How much did the bedding (for the hamster) cost? I'm thinking about getting 1 or 2 guinea pigs for Christmas and a hamster for my b-day! :) thx!

Honestly, I think it is quite alot of work to take care of 3 piggies and 2 hamsters, and it can get pretty exspensive, not much for the hammies, but alot for the piggies for bedding and food.

The bedding for the hamsters which was aspen cost about $4 at petco, very inexspensive and works great against fighting odor.

And congrats about getting animals soon :)

@happpyhalo Well, I've had them for about two months and so far I have no needed to buy new food or bedding or toys. So far its only been $80 dollers which was the cost of everything when I went to buy them.

But I suspect once they start running out of food and bedding it will be about $10-$20 every couple of months. :)

It took me 15 mins to build, an hour was an obvious exaggeration.They had plenty food in the carrier case. I know an incredible amount about hamsters, and am well aware that hamsters get stressed easily, which is why they were in there for a very short time. Also, this is my care video. I am not searching for advice, because I know what I am doing, and double check all of my info before making a video. Ask any of my 621 subscribers, and they will tell you how well I care for my pets.

I was aware that it was an exaggeration, but I didn't think it was that much. Sorry I was rude, but I was just very concerned for your hamsters. I'm not saying you don't take good care of your animals, I was just stating my opinion.

Your cage should have been ready when you got home instead of building it while they were still inside their 'carrier'. The longer they have to wait in it the more stressed they get. Also, you are supposed to feed them everyday.

@Toastlover308 I was watching your videos and I noticed you feed your hamster loose mix food. This is not good for them, so I would suggest getting blocks and adding in a little loose mix every week or two. And do you have a dwarf hamster? Because if so, they should not be kept in plastic cages. If you don’t believe me you can look it up. Sorry if I sound harsh, I am just very serious about the quality of care animals are give :/

No, you don't sound harsh, but I'm very serious about how people treat their animals as well.

As for her food, I'm feeding her the same thing and way PetSmart told me to feed her, and I do feed her pellets or 'blocks' as well.

As for her cage, I know its not good for her, but we didn't know that when we bought it. I started seriously researching hamsters after we bought the cage, and I now plan to get her a 20 gallon tank whenever I can get the money.

@Toastlover308 Not to be butting in, but you shouldn't be telling GuineaPigsxx (Jenny) that the cage should have been prepared before she got them, if you didn't research THEIR CARE before adopting a hamster.

^^ those chew toys are fine, a couple of my hamsters really love the loofah chews. The wooden ones...no so much.Also its awesome to see someone else who practices proper care of their pets.
