JRX series from JBL, although "JBL" they are definitely bottom of the line. I've never had good experience with them. I use Mccauley myself. But good performance. I would have gone with MRX, or SRX

You have more lights highlighting yourself than crowd...I think i could Dj for 100 years and still never use one of the cheap lasers.. just me. Plus, photographers hate them especially when they're trying to take important pictures, like father daughter. They'll show up and look like spots all over the dress. But hey if the bride wants here wedding looking like a low budget nightclub. what can you do. Good job all around just not my thing...

Nice Ride! Good thing you have 4wd. I am mins off of lake ontario so , I know what kind of snow you guys get. I've got a 08 dodge caravan. If you ever need to switch vehicles, check it out. With the stow & go, you have the same amount of space as an 8ft truck bed.

Trailers are problematic for someone like me.

For one, space. I don't have space to park one at home. I also don't have space to park one at most downtown venues. Remember, I live in the middle of a big city, It's hard enough to find a parking spot for one truck let alone a truck and trailer.

The other issue would be Wisconsin Winters! Snow! OUCH!

There's a gig log where I do this somewhere WAY back.  However, that's like compairing a moped to a Hummer! The little color splash Jr. lights are nice little lights (I use mine to light up my desk in my new office now) but are not very powerful for serious uplighting

I found that video that you compare, i get what you mean... unfurtunately here in brazil these equipments are too expensive... the colorsplash jr costs R$200, which is about US$100... and the LED 64 costs R$580, almost US$300 a piece....

Red Dog got something like 13 MPG!

Haha, thats like ridiciously low compared to cars here. You simply couldn't afford to run a car like that here. For motorway runs anything under 35mpg is considered to be uneconomical here.

It was really great seeing everyone doing the line dancing stuff. Seeing the crowd dancing to Thriller like that would be so cool to see live.

I especially liked the idea of speaking to people during a quite period. Maybe you might want to do a future video explaining that aspect more in depth, I would be really interested in how you approach that.

I first wanna say I really like the uplighting in this gig. It looked great! But, from a youtube DJ tutor I would expect more tucked in wires and maybe a black table skirt to match the black table top facade. Maybe I'm being to picky, but overall a very nice setup, and gig. Thanks for sharing.

I took some of your advice from a vid a while back and during the desert just before dancing, i went around the room table by table asking for any requests, and it worked out really well cuz during dancing i'd play that song and I could hear them healing "my song"!

Never play one artists throughout dinner. Rat pack style works but 45 minutes of ANYONE will not help your credibility. Light, but not sleepy piano music is nice for some up scale dinners. Just my 2 cents.

Mega bars are the best thing iv bought in terms of lighting, i have them facing the crowd though, with MyDmx controlling them so they dont blind everyone too much.

Mega bar 50 are awesome. I have four of them. Hope to get more. Master slave look they are awesome. i like how simple your light show is. mega bars/ mega bar 50 around the dj and Lasers on ceiling and crowd. Very classy looking.
